But Ive already said, I havent got time to write an essay on a film I like because you don't! I like The Texas Chainsaw massacre Remake because I found it creepy, and I found the acting very convincing and I felt really sorry for the characters. Now Im not going to waste 30 minutes of my day writing an essay on why i think its a good film because there the main reasons I found it scary. You may not agree but I dont really care ^_^

Well the black humour obviously didn't work then did it because me and my mum found it hilarious, I didnt feel uneasy and unsure ^_^ Remake was gory???? Wre you watching the same film as me :unsure: There was about 1 gory moment in the whole film! The rest of it was rather creepy, brilliantly acted, and superbly written.

Im actually being serious. Some of the forums are DEAD, what happens if NO ONE posts in them for ages, they just sit their clogging up forum space

Im not dismissing his opinion actually, I accept he likes films which I don't like, but I find him very patronising when someone DARES not to like one of his precious favourites

Well the original was OK but didn't scare me AT ALL, in fact I found it funny whereas the remake wasnt really scart at all but was a bit more creepy :smoke:

Also, its obvious the film isnt supposed to be some kind of cinematic classic Its a horror film, which had a bit of gore and was quite scary in parts, thats all it was supposed to be FFS :rolleyes: It beggars belief you bother watching these kind of films when you know perfectly well that you will HATE them <_< Peronally, I felt extremely sorry on the 'Frat Boys' and was cheering on A LOT when the one man got his revenge as was most of the cinema where I was at. Oh but I suppose were all'dumb and have no knowledge' <_<

Not everyone likes artsy fartsy c**p. I love most remakes except Hills Have Eyes which took 45 minuted for anything good to happen :rolleyes:

I prefer Hostel, Eli Roths other film

And please don't say 'I do film studies and have more knowledge than you' because who cares if you have done film studies :mellow: The film makers dont produce films thinking 'Right, this is going to appeal who have done film studies'
