Well my boss is Polish and I doubt she would understand what vernacular means, I mean what does it mean :huh: Why do you use it when Im sure theres an easier simpler term for people to understand! So youre posts must be hard to understand when i dont even understand 1 of the words, and please dont say 'well thats because you are stupid' as I find that a ridiculous comeback and offensive as I doubt many people will know what vernacular means. The point Im making, is that if people enjoy these films, LET IT BE! Dont go p***ing on their bonfire and comparing it to some modern art stuff which is highly intellectual because its not relevant

Its a film though, its not real life And the reason I prefer the remake its that i found the original more funny than scary because the chainsaw dude was so retarded I dont need to say valid reasons as to why i like a film as well. I cant explain why I preffered the remake, I just did, I found it more tense and creepy, please accept that.

No, its supposed to be quite good though Talking of horror films, I watched House of Wax last night and really surprised at how good it was ^_^ I thought it would be cheap with no gore and terrible acting but the gore was great and some parts really grossed me out :lol: Plus Paris Hilton wasn't that bad actually :lol:

Anyway back on topic! I really like this remake, felt it was creepy and scary but not as giry as expected ! But the sheriff was freakier than the chainsaw dude

I dont think the rest of Scream is terrible , its still a good film, just not asexcellent like the 1st 10 minutes

Just because me and chemical halo liked this film doesnt mean were stupid and inexperienced I dont like any Japanese films because I find reading subtitles ruins the horror effect! You may love them, so what, different opinions :drink:

Yes but the producers dont care if the audience have studied film or not here not all trying to get the studied film audience are they This film clearly was aimed at the teenage audience who like a bit of slasher stuff and not to be taken hughely seriously

Wellapparently its got very good reviews and is supposed to be really scary ^_^ Im going to watch it ^_^ And I have no doubt that you will too just show you can write an essay on how rubbish it is and how great some Japanese turd horror is ^_^
