The **Irish** Chart Thread 2011
So, Bounce entered this week at #6 and Nicole & 50-Cent and Alexandra Stan both rose to the top 10. Katy Perry at #12 - I have a feeling she could be #1 next week! :D 'Set Fire to the Rain' at #18 ! 'Super Bass' at #21  Hopefully it can go top 20! J-lo & Lil Wayne - I'm into You at #27! Dev - Bass Down Low at #28! And the hurrendous Champagne Showers enters at #34 :puke2: Sorry but I don't think I will ever like this song!

POLL: Alexandra Stan - Get Back (ASAP)
It's actually quite nice, even thought it's practically the same song! Should do okay, I'd say 11-20, maybe top 10 if she's lucky!

iTunes Chart: June 2011 (III)
Kinda? It's a snoozefest. I agree she's not trying too hard and the video is trying to be simple (a bit like Adele 'Rolling in the Deep') but in this case it comes across a bit lazy imo..

Femme Fatale Tour Topic
There's about 20 pics on the Daily Mail's website, under the TV&Showbiz section. Some really nice one's but they keep commenting on how she's 'out of shape' :/

'The Edge Of Glory' • 3rd Single Thread
I know - where did the fishy theme go ?

'The Edge Of Glory' • 3rd Single Thread
Okay, this is probably the most mixed opinion I've had EVER. I want to love the video, I don't. I think she was going for a 'simple yet effective' video - But this is just simple and boring. Remember she hyped up Judas as her ''best video she's ever done'' - She never really hyped this - I can see why :/ But, anyone notcie in the video (towards the end) how she's actually smiling, laughing and dancing on her own. When was the last time we seen her doing all 3 of these in a video? :/ She actually enjoyed herslef when making this video (I'm sure she enjoyed the rest but we as the viewer can see it here) and isn't that what music is about? Making people happy and enjoying yourself. Overall, I am disappointed in this video but it doesn't make me love or hate this song anymore than I did before the video. Also, I would have prefered if she jumped off the top of the building in the end. Would've made it more emotional.

The 'second era'
When Alexandra released her Re-release of her album, it only spent one week in the top 20, right? Mind you, it was only 4 extra tracks! So I can't see the 2nd album going platinum. And I really hope Nicki can do soooo much better with her 2nd album! She deserves so much success!

5th International Single Choice
Are we getting a re-release? I'd love one!
-
The 'second era'
The Wanted's 2nd album will NOT flop. Mark my words! Tinie Tempah will do good if he comes back with a big single! Pixie will only do good if she has a real dancey #1 single. Otherwise, this will be her Wordshaker. No doubt, Adele's next album will be massive! ...And Katy Perry's will be big, but not as big as TD :/ Other artists who will flop with their second album: Alexis Jordan, Olly Murs, Eliza Doolittle, Diana Vickers, B.O.B., Aggro Santos, Nadine Coyle (if there is one!) and Paloma Faith.

Now That's What I Call Music! 79
I felt with some of the old Now! albums (like the 60's) that the 2nd disc was always very indie or darker than the first! Not anymore!

Notorious (1st Single Discussion Thread) (Part 2)
Me too :D They always have quite decent B-sides but this sounds better than decent!
-
5th International Single Choice
:o It should be Complicated or Cheers, prefably Complicated but radios would be all over Cheers like a rash!

The **Irish** iTunes Chart 2010-2014
Tinchy hasn't really had a 'hit' since Never Leave You :/ Second Chance got to twenty something I think, and In my System only got to #35. Let it Rain never charted tho. And well done Katy, I remember when E.T. got to #11 here weeks before it started charting in the U.k. I was so mad that it would flop because it only got to #11  Look at how amazing it's done! Katy should be top 30 this week.

iTunes Chart: June 2011 (II)
I wouldn't get too excited, unfortunately :/ It should rise to #26 or so at the speed it's at now, but if they bring the price back up to 99c it'll fall again...
