I didn't watch the show (Ant & Dec bring me out in a rash) but I'm so pleased she was received so positively by the GP. My mum and sister have been very complementary of her.

END OF DECADE AWARDS
Bonsoir All! We're dangerously close to the bulk of the new Eurovision season, so before the Lovewave of national finals and internal selections to come hurtling towards us over the next 3 months, let's have one last retrospective of the decade that was. The Awards! I've 12 categories for you to reflect on and decide what the crème de la crème of the past 10 years in the Eurovision world was. Please PM your votes to me before 23:59 on Saturday 28th December, I'll be presenting your winners the following evening. Feel free to use this thread for one last nostalgic discussion of the 2010s, before Rotterdam kicks off a brand new Eurovision era. LILL LINDFORS AWARD FOR BEST HOST - Anke Engelke (2011) - Petra Mede (2013 & 2016) - Måns Zelmerlöw (2016) - Filomena Cautela (2018) - Assi Azar (2019) RIVERDANCE AWARD FOR BEST INTERVAL ACT - Madcon's 'Glow' Flashmob (2010) - The Swedish Smörgåsbord (2013) - Love Love Peace Peace (2016) - ONUKA Medley (2017) - Switch Song (2019) BJÖRN GUSTAFSSON AWARD FOR BEST SPOKESPERSON - Lee Lin Chin (Australia) - Kati Bellowitsch (Austria) - Élodie Gossuin (France) - Lynda Woodruff (Sweden) - Nigella Lawson (United Kingdom) DANNY SAUCEDO AWARD FOR BEST RUNNER-UP - maNga - We Could Be The Same (Turkey 2010) - Buranovskiye Babushki - Party For Everybody (Russia 2012) - Farid Mammadov - Hold Me (Azerbaijan 2013) - The Common Linnets - Calm After The Storm (The Netherlands 2014) - Polina Gagarina - A Million Voices (Russia 2015) - Dami Im - Sound Of Silence (Australia 2016) - Kristian Kostov - Beautiful Mess (Bulgaria 2017) - Eleni Foureira - Fuego (Cyprus 2018) - Mahmood - Soldi (Italy 2019) JEMINI MEMORIAL AWARD FOR MOST DESERVING LAST PLACED ENTRY - Josh Dubovie - That Sounds Good To Me (United Kingdom 2010) - Anna Rossinelli - In Love For A While (Switzerland 2011) - Tooji - Stay (Norway 2012) - Ryan Dolan - Only Love Survives (Ireland 2013) - TWIN TWIN - Moustache (France 2014) - Ann Sophie - Black Smoke (Germany 2015) - Jamie-Lee - Ghost (Germany 2016) - Manel Navarro - Do It For Your Lover (Spain 2017) - Claudia Pascoal - O Jardim (Portugal 2018) - Michael Rice - Bigger Than Us (United Kingdom 2019) KATE RYAN AWARD FOR MOST ROBBED QUALIFIER - Kristina - Horehronie (Slovakia 2010) - Stella Mwangi - Haba Haba (Norway 2011) - Sofi Marinova - Love Unlimited (Bulgaria 2012) - WhoSee - Igranka (Montenegro 2013) - Suzy - Quero Ser Tua (Portugal 2014) - Mei Finegold - Same Heart (Israel 2014) - Greta Salóme -Hear Them Calling (Iceland 2016) - Norma John - Blackbird (Finland 2017) - Koit Toome & Laura - Verona (Estonia 2017) - Conan Osíris - Telemóveis (Portugal 2019) VALENTINA MONETTA ENTRY OF THE DECADE - The Social Network Song (Oh-Oh - Uh - Oh-Oh) - Crisalide (Vola) - Maybe - Spirit Of The Night (ft. Jimmie Wilson) COUNTRY OF THE DECADE Which competing country of the 2010s summed up the decade for you? It could be the one who had a ton of entries you loved, a country that improved the most, or even a country you feel was underrated in the results most of the decade. CONTEST OF THE DECADE Which of the 10 contests was the one? Take everything into consideration; hosts, stage, the voting, the slogan, the logo, everything. Did you attend this contest in person? Was it your first year watching, or indeed your first year getting up in arms over the results of the Moldovan national selection? ARTIST OF THE DECADE Which artist do you think of when it comes to the last 10 Eurovision's? Perhaps they made a statement to the world. Or you have a personal connection to said artist? Whether they were a winner or came stone dead last in the semis. SONG OF THE DECADE I know we just sort of did this, but it felt wrong to leave it out. Besides, your absolute number 1 entry might not have made it to the finals of Buzzvision: All Stars! MOMENT OF THE DECADE A hard one to describe. Basically anything you consider to be a moment. Or more specifically, the moment. It could have happened during a performance, an interval, the voting and so on. Was it Jon Ola Sand's deer in the headlights look every year? Was it Salvador having to give the trophy to Netta? Was it one of the stage invasions? Was it Sanna Nielsen charting in the UK top 40 with her entry? The possibilities are endless here, so have a good think!

Not mad at Poland winning, it was up there as one of the better ones and I enjoyed it more the second time so perhaps it's a grower. Yas at The Netherlands coming 4th.

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2019
I haven't heard any of the songs yet, last year had some serious bangers (Kazakhstan, Armenia, France) so hopefully there's something to keep me going until FiKmas.

BUZZVISION // ALL STARS // GRAND FINAL
Predictable winner but I really can't argue with it. It took a while for me to decide between that and 1944 for my 18 and whilst Jamala is probably my personal favourite, Euphoria defined the entire decade. It gave the west the kick up the arse they needed to actually put some effort in (with a few exceptions), in a way Fairytale and Satellite didn't. Whilst I think the contest has gone a bit too far towards the radio friendly-jury fodder sometimes, KEiiNO's result this year is a perfect example, without Euphoria I doubt we'd have seen the likes of your Blanches and Bergers and even Poli Genova 2.0. I don't think we'll see a Euphoria of the 2020s to be honest, there hasn't been an entry so iconic since Waterloo, it's a once in a generation type of affair, so it's success and continued recognition is totally deserved.

Fabulous news, Bulgaria did not have a dud entry in the 2010s and were sorely missed this year.
