I think regardless of how huge she is smashing, the generation of musicians coming up will find it easier to chart very well but will find it much harder to become household names. E.g. Selena Gomez, Bieber, Rihanna etc. barely made top 10 when they blew up but everyone instantly knew of their names. This girl is smashing like there is no tomorrow and nobody even knows who she is. It seems that all you need now is a niche base who really mess with what you do and then allow word of mouth to take over, and you can do really well on the charts.

I think Justin could go #1 next week. Depends how important Amazon music is because it’s way behind on there

There's no way Lonely will be pulled, that song should have a shot at #1 on us radio with those callouts, but holy could be pulled if they push anyone. This is his 4th single in 4 months, defo big overexposure.

I am not shocked Bieber is flopping, this is his 4th single release in 4 months, a single per month, along with it being 1st January. That is what you call oversaturation. The first single holy started with a 4.6m global debut, 3 singles later he is down to 2m global debut.

He wasn't put on any new music friday playlists. I believe those are way more powerful for new songs. So the #1 on TTH and hot hits isn't as useful as it appears because he is missing from every new music Friday playlist on Spotify. Didn't dua debut at #1 on hothits and tth with her lead?

If any song has a chance to be w sleeper hit it’s this one. I don’t think that will happen because it’s too folky, not commercial enough. but it’s ed Sheeran and people don’t know he released. There’s no way his team thought they would do well off the gates releasing on the 21st December.

Most people don’t even know ed released. He didn’t promote it on socials like a comeback single but it does have good playlisting on Spotify.

little over 5 hours to get to 39th. I wonder what I don't care did in 5 hours.
