I agree with leona being the obvious option but you never know, maybe the current lack of airplay may favour her in that she may not got a high chart peak but as airplay increases, it might help leona keep a stable chart position and have good longevity
  2. Could I have my positions and no. of posts please?

What when I haven't started another argument beforehand on this forum? I may have made a mistake in saying that all of the people who voted were leona loons. What I meant although didn't put across in the right way was that a lot of the votes for leona came right as soon as the so called chart battle looked likely and obviously with the song being just announced at the time, there was a lot of high expectation especially from the aforementioned leona loons that this would go to number 1 at the time. However as many people came to gradually realise even the leona fans, the promotion before the single being released compared to pixie especially wasn't great in terms of that it received very little radio play and video play and the court case meaning that for the people who don't follow music release schedules and artists, there was not much hype.

I said pixie as well, the only reason why collide got the most votes was because all of the leona loons voted straight away expecting no.1

I honestly can't believe that the saturdays are top, I honestly don't know anyone who thought that all fired up would have a good shot for no.1, tbf they have had some great songs such as higher which have deserved to peak higher and all fired up is one of their best so I'm happy that this rather than notorious has got no.1 on itunes

Worst number one in recent years for me has to be the club is alive by JLS in my opinion. Terrible sampling and masses of unnecessary autotune. A few months ago, The Time by the black eyed peas would have been considered although I've grown to tolerate the song.

A bit although it's chart run reminds me of the a team in that it's got to 3 numerous times and doesn't want to rise or fall in terms of the official chart

That's because everything is sold for a similar value of like 10p in those countries or a subscription thing is used in Korea where they can get as many songs as they want, so in this case Gaga would prefer to focus on markets such as the UK over japan and korea because she would make more money. If you think before you make such a comment, it wouldn't seem so laughable tbh

I wouldn't class the UK as a small country in terms of a music industry. It is still arguably the second biggest market in the world behind the US.

The problem is that there are so many charity singles and secondly I have artists such as Daniel Beddingfield and S Club 7 which I have an extreme dislike towards

Don't know if anyone else knows but apparently the album 1 by the Beatles is bring put up on iTunes next week. This should mean a return of a number of Beatles tracks and with the current albums climate who knows where it could rechart.

  23. I think United look a lot better than last year. They seem to have found the formula where they are able to dominate games with free flowing football and score lots of goals. I'm not saying they didn't do that last year, I'm just saying that they haven't seemed to have had to scrap in matches and rely on a late goal from hernandez or whatever to secure a win. It looks like they are back to the 2007/2008 days when they seemed unstoppable

I surprised that the lazy song gets hate, it's just so bland and there's nothing to really like about it tbh yet there's nothing really to hate it. It's success still baffles me, how such a bland song can sell so well that it looks likely to go platinum

Personally, I think that generally red one produces good songs although for me it's pretty shocking and very unoriginal on she makes me wanna. It is not their worst though because the club is alive takes the biscuit for me. The reason why it seems even worse is that compared to other boyband current songs such as those by the wanted and one direction, it's so unoriginal. While I'm still not a big fan of those other boyband songs and boybands in general, they are both quite listenable songs and sound a lot less generic than she makes me wanna. Dev is such a pointless addition as well, she doesn't add anything to the song and probably makes it worse as well. Such a poor song
