Is there any news on this? Do we think they are having problems with the album or, more likely, waiting for x factor season? Could it make a million before the years out? If the qualitys good and it has an x factor slot as promo, I can see it shifting 500k in a week CLUE: James Arthur is a bit of a controversial character. Couple of questions really. Firstly, why is it some chart and some dont? And secondly, do they go on the same basis as normal sales on a rolling chart that represents the amount in the last 48 hours and then all go on in a big bulk when it comes to midnight saturday? Because if thats the case avicii could have a MASSIVE lead sunday

I wondered why it wasn't doing too good on itunes. Didn't realise this was purely on pre-orders!? Do we have another million-seller on our hands in this amazing year

Infact, thinking about it, blurred lines is a cert aswell. For a song thats sold 190k in its first week its amazing how many people haven't heard it or don't know the name of the song

We've got some well on the way already, but how many songs in the year end charts will have over a million sales during the year? I'm talking songs that have and have not been released yet. Get lucky is pretty much a cert, let her go could make it if it gets raped on the x factor aswell. Blurred lines could make it and so could icona pop. Will all these do it, and will there be any more surprises. Who knows whats in storw in this incredible year of sales

So we're looking at another week 150k plus for blurred lines. This year is incredible, and with some of the songs lined up for release and x factor still to come, we could see 600k struggling to reach the year end top 20

Makes me laugh when people talk about 'blurred lines' not having staying power because it's now only got a 66% lead on itunes. Are we forgetting thats against a song thats likely to sell 110k this week! It was never going to keep a 2 to 1 lead. It's going to have massive sales

This year is crazy so far. Another massive seller at number 1. (I'm guessing somewhere between 160 and 180k). Could have the entire year end top 20 selling over 700k at this rate

Comparing rihanna and j-lo in the year 2013 is ridiculous

You never see other songs appearing that high due to pre-orders though, or at least i havn't noticed. I didn't think pre-orders appeared on the itunes chart
