I think obviously the Lucozade advert helped. But the major thing is DJ Fresh's reputation and popularity which has rocketed because of gold dust, even though it didn't chart very well most people love it, he's also being touring alot and building his profile. All this coupled with the fact that it's actually a really good song. I agree it's not as good as gold dust, if this had been released and when gold dust was and gold dust now, gold dust would do even better than this is going to

What do you think this weeks sales and the year end sales will be? Personally I think around 150k first week and maybe pushing up towards 800 by the year end

This songs alot better than all the right moves though. What I should say is that it SHOULD be one of those songs thats number one for a long time. The reason for the flops they have been getting is simple lack of promo over here. If it was promoted right it would be massive. Lets hope it is

Pretty simple really, choose what you think the album will sell in it's first week and in total

Why don't they just start from scratch at midnight on a saturday though, and go from there, so a scratch start every week. Surely that would make more sense?

I really don't get them sometimes, so lady gaga has gone top in 5 hours, but surely she's not sold more than jessie j and champion have all week? Or has she? AAlso, when a song is released on a sunday, why does it always start low for a few hours before it climbs to number 1? Surely if its more popular its more poular and more people are buying it from the first second, i mean the fans know it's released. So why isn't it number 1 straight away as they obviously are selling more than the others

I think the x factor finalists will get number 1, but wont be by nowhere near the same margin, for 1 the song isn't as good, and remember MJ's death and the hype surrounding his songs was still fresh in many peoples memories and would have put at least 15k onto the songs sales that week

Imagine if your song had been played as part of the elton john week on x factor last week, ellie goulding could even have beat JLS to number1! Is that even out of the question at the moment? Just how big will JLS physicals be compared to the downloads?
