Whilst I have every respect for Rachel's decision, and am saddened by the closure and the end of another chapter, I am also extremely disappointed and annoyed that I have had to find out the news "second hand". Were it not for another B.J. member letting me know, I would still be wondering when the maintainance or whatever was going to be over. A little notice would have been nice so that we could have at least said our formal "thanks" and "goodbyes" to Rachel and the moderating team. After so many years it would have been good to have had a proper end. Now it just feels sour. Sorry.

Did anyone else have massive problems finding hotels?? The day the venue change was annouced, I went online to find a hotel ... all the ones nearby that are recommended on the Bowl's website suddenly bumped up their prices to well over £100 ( I think one was £185 just for a single room!) I eventually got into a B&B 5 miles away, but even that is £85! These places certainly know how to rip off people GRRRRR. If it had been at Wembley, I could have stayed at my brother's house On another note ... there are free shuttle buses from the train & bus station to the Bowl for anyone (like me) using public transport - it might even be easier to park at the train station than trying to use car-parks at the Bowl

She's being a roadie for a "rock band" next week ... wonder which poor sods agreed to that!!!?

Its very feasible Darius could play both Judas and Jesus ..... I believe James Fox (Fame Academy) did a very good job of both roles (not at the same time obviously) ... he's not particularly dark skinned either. Make up works wonders these days ;) Madame Cholet ... I give a flying fig for your views - I may not be particularly religious but I do respect and understand why you find some of the views expressed here a bit offensive. I've only "known" you for a few weeks from reading your posts, but you seem to be someone who actually speaks a lot of sense.

The world today has indeed lost one of its true characters. I have watched his shows for a while and found him both entertaining and informative - he's done so much for conservation and he will be greatly missed. At least he died doing something he was passionate about.

Wow getting even more excited for MK now!! Great to hear he's doing a mix of the old and new, and that the crowds are loving him (had no doubts but its still nice to be confirmed)

Hmmmm ... she's trying to be "hard" but looks like a kid trying to impress her mates by swearing. She's not doing anything new .... this show is just like the Friday Night Project but with another presenter... The only thing worth waiting for is The Feeling

Hi all ... Been browsing this site a while now but only just plucked up the courage to join and actually post!!! I love loads of different artistes, Robbie being one of my particular faves ... going to see him @ MK and I can't wait!!!!!! :dance:

Actually ... I am a long time fan of Darius, have met him several times myself .... but the more I read, the more I just get the impression several people expect it of him. He's far too polite to say no, he doesn't want to disappoint etc, and I know he does try when he can (although circumstances don't always make it possible) ... but some people seem to go purely with the intention of just speaking to him, and would come away disappointed if they didn't ... rather than just seeing any extras above and beyond the gig itself as a huge bonus
