Pretty poor snatch game sadly aside from Bimini who f***ing killed it. Even Gemma and Michelle were pretty full contestants, just disappointing for me. So happy for Bimini though, she was hilarious and put out a phenomenal performance, definitely setting herself up as a challenger for the crown so nice to see it isn’t looking as one sided as it was. Only thing that did bug me was the judges giving her a pass for having to explain her runway when they were so critical on it before. Granted I thought she looked great so not a slight at Bimini but the inconsistency was annoying to see. Aside from that everyone was just meh or worse for me. Was surprised to see Tayce get so positively critiqued, I just didn’t see it though she was one of the better ones. On the other side I don’t get why A’Whora was at risk, she was funny, the judges even said they liked it. Just felt they were trying to pull her down for the sake of it. Was nice to see Ellie get some storyline this week and I’m glad she was safe but I don’t think she’s got much left in her. It’s a shame as she had such a good start but hopefully she can come back in a few years and kill it when she’s a bit more experienced. I think I’d have had Sister in the bottom over Tia. Both didn’t perform awfully but I laughed more at Tia than Sister. Can’t really disagree with the outcome though which is gutting, Tia’s been a highlight of the series and I think she’ll be a massive loss going on. I’m shocked Lawrence bombed Snatch Game so badly, all she had to do was play herself and I thought she’d be challenging for win #4. I can’t say I’m sad though, was hoping her performance might finally let us see another side of her but sadly not. It’s just the same Lawrence week in week out and I’m not interested at this point. Also can the U.K. please step up the lip syncs, I think the only one I’ve actually enjoyed to this point was Sister’s. They just end the episodes on a bit of a low note.

They need to stop trying to make Bossy Rossy a thing please! No big loss losing LaLa, she lasted longer than expected and was just another mediocre week for her. Her make up looked really off to me as well, came across more orange than anything else. I’m surprised they were trying to downplay how easy it would be to turn the mime role, I thought it was easily the role to win. Personally while Olivia was good I don't think she did anything that exciting with it and would have much preferred to see what Utica would have done with it. I’m surprised Utica avoided the bottom tbh, I just didn’t understand what she was giving in her improv and thought she was possibly the weakest of the lot. Tops for me would have been Denali, Rosé and Symone with the latter winning. Was shocked to see the former two safe again, I’m really not understanding why they are being down played week after week, it’s baffling at this point and makes it seem the show is never going to let them escape their “losing team” status. Was also baffled at Kandy’s placement this week, I just found her improv boring and was surprised how much she let Symone steal the scene, very undeserved praise IMO. Was surprised how much I enjoyed Tina and Elliott as a pairing, was nice that the both got some focus this episode. I do think Tina started off too much and Elliott too little in the improv but they both come together pretty well in the end and I think both should have been safe. As much as Elliott killed the lip sync I really don’t think she deserved to be there. Overall just feeling a bit meh about the series, the judging and forced storylines are stifling the series which is a shame as if the had more moments like Tina/Elliott and less like Joey/Kandy I think the series would be massively more enjoyable.

Such a fun challenge this week and the song was so good! Not quite “Break Up (Bye Bye)” level of epic but still such a highlight! Obvious winners though I didn’t like how the show edited Bananadrama to be so much worse than they were, they made it look like the judges hated it which was massively undeserved. From the United Kingdolls I’d have gave the win to Tayce, especially since she choreographed it so well. I don’t agree at all with all 4 winning when there were clear stand outs in Tayce and Bimini and the a clear weaker member in Lawrence. When the Frock Destroyers won its cause the were completely on the same level and while this group killed it it just didn’t quite match up in the same way. Also for Lawrence to win yet again on one of her weaker performances and her worst runway I feel just kind of invalidates what could have been a stand out first win for Tayce or Bimini. I felt the losing team got a rough go of it, cues there was issues but found it ridiculous the way Ru blew up at them and it made me uncomfortable. Yes it had its issues but it was hardly a car crash of a performance in any ways. I loved Tia and Ellie’s verses so it was a shame one of them had to be in the bottom two though I would have probably put Ellie there, don’t think her runway was all that good. A shame for Joe to come back just for that but it would have felt wrong for anyone else to go. I do wonder who would have left had Veronica still been in as I definitely think she’d have stayed and possibly done quite well.

So sad to see Tamisha go, she’s been a gem this entire season and will be massively missed. It was obvious though she wasn’t performing anywhere near 100% so it makes sense with what we found out in the season. Part of me wishes she’d waited a year or so and came in ready to kill but fingers crossed she can do that on an All Stars season. Was so impressed how she took time out to comfort Kandy as she was leaving, such a class act and hopefully Miss Congeniality. The challenge this week was weird, I felt like it was a good idea but was executed in a way it felt so hollow, especially with the girls segments being so short. The runway as well had a nice theme but I think the girls tried too hard to go out of the box and their looks suffered as a result. Performance wise, was obviously shocked at Denali and Rosé being safe though their runways were poor. Denali looked like an air hostess in black and the twist didn’t pan out how she intended. Rosé’s outfit was awful, made her look bulky and don’t she wear something unilateral a few weeks back? I wasn’t mad in her week 1 looks but can she go back to them please as her taste seems to be getting worse as we go on. If Gotmik doesn’t get away from the “Mean Girls” they’re going to drag her down fast see which is a shame as I was so excited by her at the start of the season. Her performance was weak and while I think her look had a good concept it just felt like her look last week, with even more boy body. I know drag is all encompassing but I just don’t get enough “drag” from her. Tina just feels like such a background character at this point, her only storylines are being a “mean girl” and liking fire. Her performance was decent, probably not high placement worthy and I absolutely hated her outfit, she’s overplayed that concept far too much and it needs to stop, that or she can just leave as I wouldn’t miss her. Kandy is just awful and should have gone home this week 100%. Weak in the performance, she executed that look poorly and yet again I wasn’t impressed by her lip syncing. She just comes across as deluded about her skills and extremely abrasive so hopefully her bottom 2 stint will shock some sense into her. Sadly though it will likely just boost her ego that she’s sent her only critic home and the winner circle is still in tact. Deserved winner in Olivia this week, she was the only person that killed both performance and runway. Enjoyed Elliott this week as well even with her dress being “simple.” Loved both Symone and Utica’s runways though sadly I don’t think the latter has much life left in the competition with will be a great loss. Also, LaLa Ri....basic.

Completely over Lawrence and the judges obsession with her, feels like she’s in the same path as The Vivienne to the crown and just makes it so uninteresting. It all comes across as a try hard for camera time to me and it’s a shame as she’s obviously very talented and I’d probably like her if she toned it down. Disappointed A’Whora lost the win for the second week in a row, thought she was by far the funniest in the challenge and was lovely to see her open up and build bridges with Tia. She’s fast become my favourite and I hope she can keep it up going forward. Also another good week for Tia, thought she could have easily been in the top 3 and actually looked good on the runway for once, definitely the right choice to stay last week. Loved Bimini and Tayce together as well, thought they were great in the challenge though I’d personally have put Tayce as the stronger of the two in both challenge and runway. I did like Bimini’s outfit though thought it looked a little cheap but I am glad she’s doing well in the competition after a slowish start. Not the strongest week for Ellie, seemed she was just happy to get through it though I thought she was ok in the challenge. I also don’t get why what she said to Ru was seen as shady, I totally understood what she meant and have wondered myself why Ru doesn’t really acknowledge her Scottishness like she does with Lawrence. Still a big fan and hope she can step it up and grab a win soon. I did feel a little sorry for sister and Veronica as their roles were the obvious duds in the script, though Veronica let herself down with her attitude in Untucked. Her runway was my favourite to date though so I’m glad she’s still here. On the other hand Sister/ attitude was shot the entire episode and tbh when she appeared in talking heads I had no idea who it was as she’s been so under represented so far. She definitely saved herself with her lip sync though. While nothing special in the grand scheme of things I did think it was one of the better performances on the U.K. series. Sad to see Ginny go, don’t think she deserved the bottom two as she was one of the few that actually made me laugh in the challenge as bizarre as the segment was. I’m glad they gave her walking off a positive spin and as much as Idnrather she’d stayed another week it probably was her time to go.

Think I’d have given Utica the win personally, I preferred all 3 of her looks to Gottmik’s and found her Bag Ball look to be much more impressive but they were undeniably the top 2. It was kind of obvious it was Gottmik’s to win when Ru threw in that criticism for Utica at the last minute. I’d have probably put Denali top over Rosé personally. I did enjoy Rosé’s Mixed Bag and Bag Ball looks but there’s just something about her aesthetic I’m not keen on unlike Denali who I feel put in 3 strong, varied looks. Also thought it was brave of Olivia to go with an inferior boxing look not long after Symone slayed hers... Don’t agree with Tamisha being in the bottom 3, I enjoyed her looks more than Kandy Muse or Symone’s though I was expecting more tbh. As much as I love her I feel she’s only performing at like 60%, just want her to come out and absolutely smash it one week. Not a massive loss in Joey Jay this week, that they kept cutting to Kandy when Joey was getting eliminated was just annoying. Kandy’ some sides crush was not a storyline and just felt an excuse to force her on screen even more. I did really enjoy Joey’s (poison) IV look, she looked so pretty in it but it’s a shame she kinda failed at selling it to the judges and missed such an obvious connection. LaLa obviously killed the lipsync and it’s no real loss that the look got trashed in the process. The outfit pop was pretty unforgivable though, just no effort put in which is a bit of a shame when Joey at least tried but I guess that’s the game. Looking forward to Tamisha vs Kandy next week, Kandy’s ego is far to inflated for what she’s shown us so far.

Really getting into the series after the last two episodes, just feel everything was too rushed in episode 1 compared to the slower start to the last two US series. Really liking a lot of the girls now! Can’t believe Lawrence won this week, I don’t think she even won her pairing this week. Her yes her outfit looked great and was well constructed but she looked so old in it. Personally I’d have put Ellie, A’Whora and Bimini all above her this week. I really soured on her last week and this week didn’t help, tbh I think she only won because Ru is so enamoured with her. Loving A’Whora, her outfit should have won IMO! Really enjoying her and Tayce together, they’re fun to watch and it was nice A’Whora was so willing to help Tayce out. Her comment about Tia were unnecessarily harsh but it’s quite refreshing seeing someone so unapologetically catty. Interested to see how her conversation with Tia goes down next week. Tia is just so adorable and entertaining to watch, so happy she survived and put in a good lip sync to boot. Even her outfit, while not great, certainly wasn’t the worst that’s been on the runway by far and she was hilarious throughout the episode. Really like seeing Veronica stand up for her as well though while she undoubtably won her pairing I’m not massively sold on her style so far. Felt for Ginny this week, was glad she got a good amount of airtime though and we got to learn more about her. She seems like such a sweetheart! Fair enough her outfit was extremely basic but she pushed outside her comfort zone and still looked good so happy she lasted another week. Was worried the extra focus on her this week was signalling her going home like what happened with Joe and Cherry so glad that wasn’t the case. Has Asttina ever watched anime? Literally the only thing that remotely passed as such was the hair and even that’s a stretch. With such a basic outfit as well I’m not sad to see her go, especially after all that hype for her lip sync led to just a decent performance.

A really meh premiere for me sadly, just not massively feeling this group of queens yet but hopefully that will change with time. Tbh it kind of felt like it could be a cast for a latter series of Channel 4 Big Brother, just a lot of loud personalities. If I had to pick a favourite maybe Ellie Diamonds, her home town look was so good! Liked Lawrence on the runway as well but something felt really off about her when Ellie walked in and also based of next weeks promo so I’m not going to invest in her yet! Disappointed to see Joe go as well, not the best looks but not the worst either and a likeable enough character from what I saw. Shame to lose one of the few “older” (i.e. over 30) queens right away as well.

Well I guess winning isn’t everything as this was so much better than last weeks “winners circle.” Denali - Absolutely killed the performance, definite stand out for me across both group challenges. You can tell she was out for blood after week one and it came through for her, she was fab! Great looks as well from her, definitely one to watch!! Joey - Really likeable queen and decent performance, was really enjoying her verse until she started spelling her name and then it kinda fell apart for me. Style wise was alright, though I found her runway look the weakest of the four personally. The lack of wig I found distracting and I think it stopped me appreciating her looks more. Fair enough if it’s her style but I think it’s gonna be a hard sell for me. Kahmora - Stunning looks but definitely the weakest of the six. There were moments in the performance her personality snuck out which were nice to see but don’t think she’ll be able to bring it enough to save her from being first out sadly. I’m glad we got some focus on her during the episode though cause I found her really likeable. Rosé - Another performance highlight though it really bugged me when she had her back to the camera, kinda took me out the moment. Her looks weren’t my favourite, her runway made her look a bit bulky though I did enjoy her Lady look. Was a little worried based on the premiere she’d come across unlikeable but found her the complete opposite this week and I enjoyed her. Tamisha - Absolute Queen and my new fave of the season, she just comes across as such a thoroughly lovely person and gives great talking heads. Her looks were all great as well, it’s just a shame her performance was a bit lackluster. Hopefully that was just nerves cause if she can bring the fierce I’d love to see her go far. Utica - She was my top 2 with Denali this week, loved all her looks this week and her performance was so enjoyable. I hope they don’t just peg her as the weird queen and boot her early cause I’m excited to see what she’s gonna pull out across the competition. I enjoyed watching this group so much part of me doesn’t want them to join and get shit on by the “winners circle” as I can just see the likes on Kandy and Tina bringing it up far too often, especially when this group have had a vastly superior episode in pretty much every way.
