I'm surprised Kylie's old label re-released all those albums at once. Surely it makes more sense to spread them out a bit to milk the fanbase as much as possible? It seems to have paid off either way, but it does seem like sales could potentially have been higher if they were released a few week's apart.

The way this entire thread has derailed because of one attention seeking user. Will the mods ever act or will it always be this chaotic and exhausting to read? Sigh.
  4. For chart purposes, does a YouTube stream have the same streams-to-sales ratio as Spotify, Apple, etc?
  5. Dreadful dreadful numbers for Charli, a streaming-first artist, coming off their commercial peak, with TikTok friendly durations designed specifically for streaming. The day 2 drop will be rough.
  6. I've literally never said this but it's actually true? You've a very active imagination.
  7. The way you just make things up and try to present them as fact.

Is this media in your head by any chance? Very few people outside this forum care about the charts.

What a criminal and she only just got out of trouble with the Spanish authorities for tax evasion.

I’d be shocked if she doesn’t. It’s her first release since the variant strategy has been in use which should drastically increase her numbers. She also seems to be doing well on streaming. Coupled with the critical acclaim, I think 45-50k could be in reach.

What were the opening sales of Madonna’s last few albums?
  13. Madonna at #1 on NMF was not the sort of support I expected Spotify to give her.
  14. Great, then it’s appropriate for you to use its name and good you now know when an acronym isn’t needed ❤️
  15. Why would anyone want that.

I'm surprised Olivia's team aren't popping out some physicals for Stupid Song or dropping additional versions and the price on iTunes. Sales are super low at the moment so she could easily nab the #1.

I think people are being a little optimistic about its commercial performance. I’d love to even see it Top 40 but realistically it will struggle for Top 75. She doesn’t have much of a fan base and her last two albums didn’t even chart.

What are these acronyms. Please stop with them.

The way I have no idea what any of these acronyms mean. Can people please ease off them.
  20. This is incorrect. It's expected to be one of, it not the biggest hit of the summer and one of the biggest animations of all time. Currently expected to open with over $150m+ in the US.
  21. What sort of nonsense.
  22. She's not battling for #1 in the US with projections showing her debuting at #4/#5. That's probably why the label aren't pushing it as heavily.
  23. Ugh not more Charli bleep boop noise.
  24. Why are Spice Girls, Gaga and Madonna on this list? Not sure being an ally counts as a queer artist. Also shouldn’t Harry Styles be here or does queerbaiting not count?
  25. People wanted new music and chart freshness so here's Drake with 3 albums and 40+ tracks, enjoy!
