I don't understand how there's nothing the OCC can do about the fact that Who miraculously leaps in streams every time it's about to go to ACR, languishes for two weeks, then jumps again. I'm calling it now, we're having the same conversation on March 23rd. Would love to see Gaga stay in the top 10. I thought Abracadabra would be bigger than it is, but top 10 is still good.

I am assuming it looks at the percentage change Monday to Wednesday, applies that, and adjusts for the average streaming difference on Thursday (eg if Thursday is usually a quiet day or busy day).

I'm so excited. I want APT and Messy to both get #1. APT this week and Messy next week would be the perfect outcome. I hope there's a big enough sales gap for APT to take it this week.

I think it was about 800 in the end. But the gap usually narrows on weekdays, APT performs best at the weekend.

Celebrities sign thousands a lot. I've watched them sign thousands over a couple of days when I worked at conventions. Signing thousands isn't a lot to people who are used to doing it as part of their living. I've done 1000 signatures myself when I had to hand sign some stuff for a competition. Did it in bursts of an hour or so.

Celebrities do get used to this though. I used to work at sci-fi conventions and the actors would sign autographs in the thousands over a couple of days. 30k is insane though but it's definitely normal for celebs to do more than 1000. They'd also do it in batches when they were doing the presale signatures, like sit down for an hour at a time to give their wrists some rest.

Hello! OCC has posted one article (Jan 2021) about "Specialist #1 Award", including a trophy. I'm not allowed to post a link because I don't have enough posts, but if you google "officialcharts specialist award" you'll see the article I mean. Can anyone confirm if this "Specialist #1 Award" and trophy apply to all of the charts, including things like Physical Album Sales, Video Streaming, Single Downloads, etc? eg. does Taylor Swift get the main #1 album trophy, and a Specialist #1 Award trophy for Physical Album Sales, another specialist trophy for Album Downloads, etc?

She's Korean too, a dual national. I would love to know if this statistic is true. Would be amazing to get to celebrate a Blackpink-Rina 1-2. My preference is for it in that order, but Rina would be a well deserved #1 even if Blackpink tank the last few days and lose the lead.

I hope it's okay to ask a random question! I notice that Spotify seems to have gone from accepting 10 streams per day as filtered streams to 20 streams per day. Does this affect the UK chart, or are we still only counting 10 per day?
