  1. Thoughts on the first play of Out of Our Heads? Very different style and sound from them. Very 30s esc
  2. An extract from ‘A Better Me’: We knew Jason wasn’t going to stick around forever, but when we started thinking about our next album [after Circus], he was already on his way out of the back door. I know people would give their left arm to do what we do. But at times I felt like Jay’d give his right arm not to. In that respect he’s like Dawn: hates the publicity. There was only one thing that would keep Jason for one more record: Robbie. Jason would stick around if the old Take That were together again. And wasn’t that where all this was headed since the comeback? Rob. ‘Yeah, but where is he?’ Rob still felt so far out of reach. I knew Jay would stay if Rob came back. He and Rob are great mates by now. Fact: if we weren’t five, we were three, no two ways about it. I had to get Rob back.
  3. All of them sound great! And the track listing has been announced! CD1: Greatest Day It Only Takes a Minute These Days Could It Be Magic Everything Changes Travel interlude Out Of Our Heads A Million Love Songs Sure Love Ain’t Here Anymore feat. Boyz II Men Spin Cry Said It All How Deep Is Your Love feat. Barry Gibb CD2: Let’s Do It Again interlude Patience The Flood Back For Good Get Ready For It Everlasting Giants Shine Never Forget Relight My Fire feat. Lulu Babe Pray Rule The World
  4. Excited to hear it!! I wonder if the promo plan will revolve around the new single, a medley of classics, or performing the likes of Pray remastered. They’ve just confirmed to be performing on the Royal Variety!
  5. I’m nearly at the half way point
  6. It’s been delivered! Ok, going to read it now!
  7. Interesting that Jason would have left the band after Circus if Rob hadn’t rejoined for Progress. He really did just want out for quite some time.
  8. I’ve ordered it too! Well, I ordered it last October! Due to arrive on Wednesday - can’t wait to read it! Especially the solo album chapter. What parts are you looking forward to reading about?
  9. They’ll also have already racked up thousands of sales for those who preordered to get your sale access...a head start as it were. It’ll all come down to the promotion strategy.
  10. I think I prefer BZ too actually. They’ve got some very good songs in their back catalogue.
  11. I feel this could definitely break 1 million sales in the UK. Don’t forget, Wonderland was released outside of the high volume Xmas market, so difficult to compare
  12. Slightly different, but Boyzone has released their second single for their final album and it’s a cover of Take That’s ‘If It’s Not Love’ from the III album! https://www.google.co.uk/amp/s/www.thesun.i...ary-barlow/amp/
  13. Completely agree, although Gary’s voice has just got better and better since the reunion. As has Mark’s and in particular, Howard! Maybe this is an unpopular view, but I don’t feel like Shane has any real range. He’s an fair singer, but that’s it. Mark does have more feeling in his voice; although I think he struggles to articulate at times. Nonetheless, it’s nice that they’re back, but I wouldn’t be surprised if they just continued where they left off sound wise.
  14. It’s a funny one! I remember they had this debate about how to celebrate 25 years. Was it 25 years since they met; or their first single; or first album... I guess there’s probably more label pressure than anything else, to get this GH out the door and see what’s next. This will be the first GH under Polydor, so I’m sure they’re expecting similar sales to the UC over the next few years
  15. I had no idea that poor Dawn ended up becoming Diabetic because of this...so sad
  16. https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/73798...oins-take-that/ COULD IT BEE GEE MAGIC? Bee Gees star Barry Gibb will join Take That for TV special marking the band’s 30th anniversary The supergroup will record a version of the Bee Gees' original hit How Deep Is Your Love, which was covered by Take That in 1996, and one new track. An hour-long programme on the group has been commissioned by BBC One and will show the unlikely five-piece in the studio. Gary Barlow, Mark Owen and Howard Donald are all confirmed and Robbie Williams also hopes to appear in the one-off TV special to be broadcast later this year. It is understood they will record a version of the Bee Gees’ original hit How Deep Is Your Love, covered by Take That in 1996, and one new track.
  17. I’m very excited to read it. I really enjoyed ‘My Take’; it was a real, raw account of the solo days and the reunion.
  18. Front page of the Sun today, Gary talks about Poppy’s death: https://www.thesun.co.uk/tvandshowbiz/73743...daughter-poppy/
  19. Good luck today if you’re trying to get tickets!

  21. B2M on LAHA could be a single...who knows! I couldn’t get tickets on Wednesday, but I’ll try again tomorrow! A shame that there’s no standing at the O2 Arena. Is that the same for other venues? Appears there’s no B Stage...
  22. Presale tickets for the tour available at 9.30 this morning!
  23. This does seem likely to include a medley of reworked tracks...when do these things typically get aired/announced?
  24. Historically, GB made all the money, but since 2005, they’ve split everything equally and shared the songwriting credits. Robbie and Jason will certainly receive a significant fee. They’re all friends after all.
