Do we know when the album is released? Will it go up against TT?

Gary said on Twitter that they’ll be performing the likes of Pray in its original form, so we’ll still get the dance!

It’s nice that they’ve come back, albeit always inevitable given how none of them had a successful solo outing. I fear they’ll more likely do a Boyzone than a Take That. They’ll probably get a top 5 album, but unsure if there’s anything there that’ll keep attention and convert new fans. Perhaps a 5 piece would have helped, considering they’ve been 4 for a large part of their career. In fact, when you think about it, TT have only been a 5 piece for 9 years of their 30 in the business!

It would be very interesting if there were different regional listings! Surprised they didn’t include The Garden, Hold up a Light or Kidz... Interesting too that they’ve sprinkled the new songs in amongst the hits, rather than at the end of the record. Wonder what’s behind the order of the tracks too? Perhaps it’s the set list for the tour! Just noticed there’s only 25 listed. There should be 27...

Greatest Hits chart in the normal way.

Would have liked to have a single release, but I guess they’ll just be doing medleys to promote the record

I’ll reserve judgement for now, but after a few listens I really like Pray. A new take on one of my favourite songs. I imagine Sure will be rearranged into the Swing version, but trying to think how they’ll do others. Wonder if Rob re-recorded Could it Be Magic and Everything Changes

Let me know! :)

So 24 tracks plus the 3 new tracks. Will be interested to see the track list! Wasn’t too keen on this version of Pray, but after a couple of listens it’s grown on me! Pippa, give it a couple of listens back to back

Not sure what’s happening on the single front...I thought they would have released that, rather than a re-recording. I like the new Pray, but prefer the older one. It’s a little too slow I think! Clever in a way to rework these songs, so it doesn’t cannibalise the Ultimate Collection.

Here we go! The Greatest Hits album is called Odyssey. A 27 track album over two discs, with three brand new tracks and featuring special guests. Tour dates shortly.

Yes! Very Beautiful World-esc! They’ve teased the title ‘Odyssey’...I wonder if that’s the single name, or maybe the album?

They formed in 1989 and gigged until they broke through with in 91

Chris Evans confirmed this morning that Take That are going to talk about the new album and tour on friday and they will perform 4 songs.

10 years since the first M&S Xmas advert! I imagine they’ll be using a reworked version of one of their hits

There’s talk they’re on Radio 2 breakfast on Fri. Just watched a live stream from Robbie who says he doesn’t have any tour dates planned with TT...

Urgh. So they played a 7 min video on their Facebook page, and finished with a silhouette of 3 of them against a gold sky. Single released on 21 Sept according to the Twitter image on their official account.

I’m hearing there’s an announcement at 6pm tonight!!

And Gary tweeted that today marked the start of TT30! News this week??

I wonder if they’ll do an arena tour, with potentially a date or two at Wembley with Robbie

I feel like that could be a possibility with a future Gary solo release! Would be really cool to hear!

Hmmm...maybe something like Barry Manilow on Could it be Magic? Or perhaps one of the 3 new songs is a duet? Wonder if Robbie will be on one of those songs, or if he’s involved at all? Would be surprised if he wasn’t... Could well be 3 discs, for 30 years! A disc a decade!

There’s so many questions that I’ve got - but I’m optimistic! They need to re-connect again with the fans. Maybe this release will bring us back to the 2million+ sales again

It’s been moved forward a week apparently!

Exciting news!! Take That will be on "Chris Evans Breakfast Show" on BBC Radio 2 on Friday 28th September. Sounds like announcements are incoming!
