  1. Yes, back in 2008! Definitely overdue I feel!
  2. With robbie on XF, I would say it’s fair to assume TT4 could reunite and perform a song on the show? And perhaps a medley... Ideally we could get a TT week!
  3. I think it’ll be ok - perhaps they’ll just re-record some of the original songs? I imagine if Sure is included, it could be the big band version?
  4. Surprising! A shrewd move for Simon and a coup to get Robbie to commit to this. Excited to see him more regularly - hopefully he’ll have Gary on Judges’ Houses!
  5. Some new news on the GH and tour everyone! Gary wrote: 'There are some exciting announcements coming from TTIII soon. We’ve an extremely important release coming this Winter in the form of a Greatest Hits with a twist. 'Then in 2019 we will turn our recordings into a live show featuring all the hits from the last 3 decades.’ https://www.google.co.uk/amp/www.dailymail....rsary-year.html Word is it’ll be a TTIII tour, with Robbie joining the U.K. and select European dates. No Jason...

Not massively keen on the MJ feature...just doesn’t feel complete or ‘right’
  7. Yes, we should start hearing this gathering pace now. Especially as Gary has finished his tour and usually we’d hear a single around September time.
  8. I’ve gone for something a little different. When we were Young is such a lovely song, has a stunning video and was the last video to include all 5 of the guys. I think I prefer this song over Eight Letters actually.
  9. Haha yeah! This was a great carpool variation!
  10. I also feel the journalist framed the story around Gary, where there were a lot of other people involved. I also agreed about Giants - a big balled could have done wonders. I cant see the next single from GH being a ballad either though.
  11. It’s comign around quickly! We might get a new single in September (if they don’t do the on air/on sale strategy)
  12. Do you think the flood is played more or less than other TT songs on the radio? I rarely hear it compared to the likes of RTW, Pray, etc
  13. I agree, Patience was just the ultimate comeback song, but how lucky were we to get 3 great singles from the BW era!
  14. Agreed - stronger is one of the weakest on the record
  15. It’s probably worth mentioning that many more people would have already had a copy of Open Road. The same might not be said for 12 months, so it could be the first time a lot of people buy it!
  16. Perhaps he was reluctant to release a ballad after criticising Gary for that approach. Maybe he felt a ballad didn’t fit the image he wanted to craft (i.e. Oasis)
  17. I think he may be more keen to re release 12 months. Even if he gets a re peak into the top 20s then that’ll be a good return. Strange how he didn’t promote it at all though!
  18. Yeah, but if Robbie didn’t release Angels, he may have lost his record deal and the pressure may have been released from Gary - who knows
  19. Circus was the best era I think. Everything came together for them during it: the album, singles, tour, live performances, etc
  20. Very surprised to see such a fall in one day. Also surprised that it only got 2,000+ sales. Streaming really has changed the goalposts for artists like Gary, TT, Robbie etc
  21. Strange that it has gone so quiet on this front. I agree, the American element of the world tour would work perfectly for this
  22. Good to see Open Road still top 10! Would be amazing if 12 Months could re peak and get a top 10 charting

Delighted that Open Road is hanging on in there!
  24. It’s funny isn’t it how the label knew they were getting a singer songwriter who had proved he could write hits, but they decided to spoon feed him with covers and writing sessions with people he didn’t want to work with.
