Let's hope sales are strong tomorrow and over the weekend. Would be such a shame if it missed out on #1. Has anyone seen any reviews yet?

Followed by another #1 with Shine, the million selling Rule the World and a near 3 million selling comeback album. :cheer: :cheer:

Good question...is Giants available over there now? Is it on their iTunes chart yet?

I like New Day, but not blown away by it...

The Late Late Show performance! Giants is very good live!

Turns out the Vegas rumour is true and they are likely to do it next year

Well, let's not go overboard here, their last lead single went #1, so did the album, and in the meantime they had a top 25 and a top 15 single in the era of streaming... They are still making good music, the issue is the lax approach to promoting it (perhaps it's an expectation that people will buy it automatically).

If it doesn't make it on its opening week, hopefully there'll be opportunities when they tour or do the audience with etc.

Is it me or does it feel like no one bothered with this? It's a bit like they knew they had to release one so let's do it quickly and on the cheap...

Just seen a clip of the Giants video...looks quite underwhelming and not much thought behind it. Hopefully it looks better in its entirety

The Late Late Show has been pushed to the week before the album. Do we know when the Carpool Karaoke is yet? Ed Sheeran has sold 200k so far this week..this is going to be a big challenge for TT if they don't get the promo right. Perhaps they should have released it in Feb, a week after Giants...

TT would definitely beat Drake. There's not many artists that would beat TT under normal circumstances

For me, back for good is my absolute fav, but I think RTW has more chance in this competition

Read the topic title

I agree, let's go with Rule the World

I expected RTW to come out on top for this, but surprised Back For Good isn't close behind it..

Of course! Completely forgot about that one. Really enjoyed the Circus one

No date yet, but ITV have announced 'An evening with Take That' coming soon! Will this be their first 'Evening with' since 2006?

It's when we do polls like this that we realise how many wonderful songs Take That have!

Yep, all happening currently. Looks like Rule The World is the favourite so far!

Looks like we have a runaway, Pippa...my personal preference would be RTW too

Good to see that progress still holds higher first day sales than Ed though.

Progress charted there Elisabeth, I for one am happy that they are bothering. For a time, I thought they'd only focus on UK, Ireland and Germany. Streaming is such a killer in the charts right now. Wish they'd sort it out. It's like tail wagging the dog for want of a better expressions!

In fairness, Giants (although it should and COULD have gone higher), still went in at top 15 with zero promo, but I am starting to be a little worried for Wonderland's position. Realistically it should have 40k already in the bag from the presale. Are there signed copies being released too? I'm hoping Ed is very front loaded this week and then is around the 50/60k mark when TT release

I just love BW. Every song is classic TT, and to have Patience, Shine and RTW on it shows it's something special
