  1. I don't expect many people in the UK know or care about BSB anymore. They had some hits, but then so did Damage, 911 and 5ive
  2. Oh good! Another platinum certification is fantastic!
  3. According to The Sun, this talent show will be all about finding the stars for a Take That musical! So along the lines of the Andrew Lloyd Webber shows. Will be great publicity for the show if true!
  4. Backstreet are living off the old days. I think TT will be absolutely fine
  5. Fantastic! Glad you had a great time! Maybe they'll release a single in time for the Hyde park gig!
  6. Oh gosh, what were they thinking! Love the covers comment Milly
  7. Progress live has sold 220k, Nobody Else is on 680k, BW is 2.9m and Circus is 2.2m. Also remember reading somewhere that everything changes has sold 1.4m
  8. Adele's record actually got very mixed reviews, but the media haven't mentioned that... I remember Robbie got a lifetime award back before he rejoined TT. With that in mind I would expect TT to get one sooner rather than later.
  9. Surprised that they didn't present anything. I wonder when the Brits will give TT a life time achievement award. Possibly next year?
  10. GARY Barlow is going to war with arch-rival Simon Cowell by launching and starring in an X Factor-style talent show. The Take That superstar’s series is lined up by the BBC to replace The Voice, which is moving to ITV after its current Saturday night run. His as yet unnamed multi-million pound programme will compete directly with The X Factor — on which he was a judge from 2011 to 2013. Last night a TV source revealed: “This is Gary’s own format that will be made by the BBC entertainment team. “If it is a success he could make hundreds of millions of pounds around the world like Cowell has with X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent. “Cowell is going to be furious because he thinks it was X Factor that gave Gary the experience working on a show like this. Now he’s gone and set up a direct rival. “He’s always been paranoid about Gary trying to set up a huge entertainment company incorporating music and TV, which seems to be happening.” The Beeb considered more than 200 ideas for new shows. Sources close to Gary said he was “very excited” about the project — but still planned to keep his music commitments, including being a full-time member of Take That. http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showb...s-X-Factor.html
  11. I wonder if they'd release around Spring time and then release a second single just before the album...
  12. I didn't realise Gary had spoken about the duration of the Vegas residence?
  13. I agree, it's curious that they are talking about a new record. So I imagine they'll release it at Xmas, then tour for the anniversary in the summer and then release a GH for Xmas 2017. Sounds a little busy doesn't it? They should have released an album in 2012.
  14. Yeah I'm pleased that they are more receptive to playing abroad again. Also helps gauge the demand for a 25th anniversary tour in these places.
  15. It's great to hear the news about a world tour and a reunion. I personally feel Jason will rejoin, albeit in a capacity of documentaries and maybe a couple of select gigs. My concern though, is where do they go after a 25th anniversary to this scale? With a new GH coming too, I hope it's not signalling the end.
  16. Yeah I heard this! Maybe he will...Finding Neverland anyone? haha
  17. Must say, I think her version is fantastic. Wonder what'll happen with casting when it comes to the west end
  18. Congrats! As Milly says, please post a review!
  19. Its all about a strong single and media pick up. Historically, they've chosen great lead singles to launch an era of new music, so hopefully that'll continue. I think if they remain as a 3, the media won't be as interested, so I would expect a 4 or a 5 piece album next time. Would Jason return if Robbie signed up? Or would Robbie only sign up if Jason was on board?
  20. The 'skipping' issue and the press pick up it got would have probably changed many people's minds.
  21. I'm happy with that, I know he and Gary get on well so probably unsurprising. I, too, don't want him to step into the TT set. They don't need him for any aspect of their show.
  22. Thanks everyone! It was amazing! Incidentally, I haven't stopped hearing These Days and Higher than Higher in Australia and New Zealand. Not sure if they've charted out there, but from a radio perspective they seem to be making a mark!
  23. Hey everyone, back in the UK again! Thanks for all your messages and a very happy new year to everyone! Pleased to see III is still hanging around in the charts and picking up a few more thousand sales. 2016 could be a good year for TT. I, for one am excited to see where studio album #8 will take us! Hopefully back to an acoustic lead BW style!
  24. Hi everyone, just a heads up that I'm going off to Australia tomorrow! Will see you all in 3 weeks or so! Happy new year in advance!
