This. And that's all I was saying esp. when comparing it to 'Take My Breath'. That song also had a similar heavy, slick production, drums etc...Teasers/snippets sounded waay better & more eventful then the actual song ended up. That's where the comparison ends. Houdini imo sounds like a great club only track (or even album track) but lacks the pop/dance crossover sound for the GP-ESP in non Euro markets. But it's NOT a dud/ bad song except for that outro (sorry, it's kind of cringe) lol. That said I'm a massive Dua fan and would lovve to end up *wrong w/ where this ends up on Friday!!

Like I said almost from the onset def vibing like a battle for #3 even more than #2 tbh. Don't think her physicals are gonna matter much, ultimately. Houdini is def. Take My Breaths 1st cousin. Both aren't 'bad' songs but offer really nothing new. + not enough true time to create the need or demand between songs. Nrmally not at all into Jacks kind of sound/genre but objectively it's waay more infectious & instant and GET why it's doing what Houdini isn't :-( DTN may have been a movie single but ended up *massive, played non stop & still a pretty recent smash. Because her songs served such longevity last album ya, feels like she maybe needed to wait another 6 months before anything new. Lovve Dua but this isnt it. Already burnt on it. I GET why the GP may agree.

Who do you predict will be #1 on 17/11?
Yep I voted for Jack much as want Dua. :-/ Jack is def. vibing (& showing so far in the data). Love Dua but Houdini just keeps reminding me of 'Take My Breath'. Both songs aren't 'bad', heavily and slickly produced yet...missing something where it really counted and over compensating w/ the heavy production. But even the production imo still missed the opportunity to take it to a much higher level. At least something I personally connect with. DSN, Levitating etc...were all instant and effortless. Jack's song IS pretty basic lol & highly likely a throw away, forgettable song in x-amount of months but it HITS instantly and w/out much effort. It's almost the polar opposite of Houdini in every way but it works where Houdini just misses the mark but, again, NOT bad. Bottom line & possible prediction why do I have a feeling Dua may not even end up #2, ultimately!? Lol Have a feeling Greedy etc..may end up #2 w/ Dua #3.

THIS is exactly why Olivia's team did what/when they did this! Lol If Doja erupted to this degree even Sun./Mon. think she'd still bag #1 (maybe easily). Dunno if it's been confirmed whether or not the 5k lead Olivia had were ALL her physicals counted or just a portion? Tracking week isn't technically over yet until today so she still has time to bag up x-amount of physicals hopefully to offset Doja on every other metric. Still think Olivia pulls it out even if by the slimmest margin at the last minute.

PLZ just let Doja be #1 for 2 weeks max. then Olivia. Not.getting.it. at ALL lol Can't get through it except the scratching record of divine Dionne at the beginning. Song isn't better or worse than 9/10 or whatever of US centric rap pop created by a corporate kit lol. But didn't at all connect or get Sprinter too so...ya it could happen w/ this Doja song (geezus). lol

Next week's #1 prediction, pt.2
Doja. But only because of its numbers lol. One of the most perplexing for me 'smashes out of nowhere' in a while. Listened to it now many x simply trying to get it & hear what people hear/connect with. I just do NOT lol. Even in the most objective way regardless of whether I like it or not. Only highlight is the opening w/ the scratchy record of Dionne singing. Flat, monotonous and instantly forgettable once it starts to descend down the charts. Vampire was NOT instant but felt & knew it was something special out of the gate. You had/have to be patient with it lol. Has many layers. But then it HITS hard. Keeps elevating. Dua's Dance The Night (not at all her best) but was similar.

How about on Amazon? How far ahead is Dua there? I keep trying to find the real time link to top songs but can't seem to locate it! lol

So Dua will have cassettes AND CDs? Think I read she may be out of CDs and not re-stocking therefore no longer available on CD (only cassettes)?

so its NOT looking like Sh*t and Tie or Sh*t and Shout lol (sorry imo they both are just that sh*t) ;P Dont care for ANY of the 3 songs but by default Im rooting for 50 cent. Plus, Britney/Will I am already got #1 but even THAT Id prefer over JTs new hot pile of turd. Does NOT in any way deserve to be #1 sorry (and pretty damn sure it wont be) lol.

Im not a betting person but am def. feeling its very, very possible the rules may be changed if Bowie continues to slay (cause its 'Bowie) and Im sure the public outcry/ backlash would be pretty big. Legends like Bowie, Eagles etc...have VERY hardcore, dedicated fan bases but in a different way than Britney, X-Tina etc..cause they also have the mega critical acclaim which may even have more power. The biggest irony of it all is this happened in almost in the same kind of way in 2007 w/ the Eagles (another legendary act) not someone like Kesha, PSY, X Factor winner or some other random fly by night singer/group lol. If it was already well into Thurs/Fri Id say less of a chance but the fact its still barely into Wed. (4 whole days left of sales and enough time to make chart changes) only gives Bowie the possible benefit here.

um..the lead is rapidly increasing. How sure is everyone he WONT get #1? If he continues pulling that far ahead I predict some last minute changes to the chart 'rules' wouldnt be a shock. If he ends up *majorly* outselling, BOWIE, not Britney DEF deserves #1. If he doesnt get it, def. wont be fair and square. Brit and Will I am should get an * next their '#1' :#.

is there ANY chance they can make a last minute rule change- esp. if the song explodes on iTunes and the public outcry is very vocal (like what happened with Blackout in 2007)?
