even if Scream & Shout get to #1 on iTunes arent those two other songs primarily being bought via physical singles? Meaning next week even if S&S takes over iTunes #1 the other two songs still have a decent shot at being #1 due to the strong physical sales?

^ they are but its not a strong track (getting very mixed reviews at best) and is prob. still more of a front loaded thing and lack of competition. I have a feeling it may get close but (without knowing what else is getting released in the next week or two). If things stay the way they are, I'd say S&S may end up getting close to #1 but stay put at #2 or even eventually start fall back. I think the X-Factor winner will somehow hold onto #1 until a new strong release comes out

yes, whats gonna be possibly disturbing is that 2nd or 3rd week drop lol. But for someone like Madonna, to NOT get anything less than #1 regardless of the upcoming plummet would trump anything else. Most people, the press etc..focus on that damn #1 (how many countries etc..) . Much less publicity is given to how much it falls. The fans and hates will surely be well aware but most of the public will focus on her hitting #1 (surpassing Elvis I believe) for most #1 albums by a SOLO artist. Such a freakin pity the music/album is so dire. She will ALWAYS get the 1st huge 1st week #s, but imagine if GMAYL was even 1/3 of what HU was -what kind of #s wed be getting (not just week #1 but in the several weeks ahead) :/ Its just such a pity that all the flawless pre hype, marketing, *stellar album cover*, promotion, *super bowl* etc etc..that the damn 1st single wasnt...um..hot in any way :(. Oh and Im feelin around 70k ish. Not great but enough for #1 (I just dunno who shes going up against).

I really have noo idea what the hype (on any level) is for End Of Time lol. Doesnt sound even remotely in the ballpark of a #1 song. Maybe just by default its the least of the bad songs on the album?

yeah,I think its looking like a given now. all due to 2 simple factors: the day head start Jason had, and the fact the hes been THIS close to her all week. If she only released the song and video sat-sun and/ or if it was slightly stronger single, shed have that #1 set in stone now. Not saying its 100% unlikely, but seems like its well under 50% chance now.

i hav e afeeling the Beyonce boost is just due to the promotion. It may get close to #1 and even take over- but I cant see it holding and taking the #1 Sunday. Its just not that strong of a track.

im gonna say that Gaga will NOT get #1 cause shes only been there for a day (and the song only just got released..yesterday?), and if Take That get #1 on iTunes by late tonight and stay there, that would give them 3 full days at #1 before Sun. So by default, the ONLY one to have stayed steady during the choppy mess lol, would have been Bruno, so I would think he'll take it?
