I am excited for 'By The End Of The Night' as I was with similarly cheerful 'Around U'. Which means - not at all... (?)

The choice of the new single is quite surprising looking at the views from her KOKO performance. (I'm talking about this one account that was recording from the balcony, she posted most of the songs after the concert). However, 'By The End Of The Night' is much more friendly and easier to listen by a generic audience than 'Higher Than Heaven' or 'Better Man' so I kind of get it... p.s. Why do we have to wait a week until a single release? I don't want to bother with listening to the song on YouTube and listen to James Corden everytime I have a listen :blink:

Such unexpected news! ahhh I always wanted to take photos of her and I just can't look at those badly cropped and blurry photos. I get it. It's "zoom" photoshoot but for VOGUE it could've been executed much better. Well...

same with Bleach which is also written from her friend's perspective. It doesn't mean she sings about her friend but more likely about her/his relationship with somebody that inspired her to write a song. whatever. let the ELECTRICITY leak so we can finally find out what was scrapped from the album. there's nothing more irritating than leaking snippets. why would you need them tho.

I ain't talking bout the sound. Lyrics in those snippets and in "New Love" seem to fit together actually.

I can't post any links here yet but check out the video that Ellie reposted on her twitter. She mentions there that the "If you could see me now I got a feeling you'd be dancing next to me I'm on my own, but I could never be lonely I got new love in me now Got electricity in every bone like woah Now I'm overthinking that I'm not who I should be I got new love in me" part was originally the chorus. Do we need anything else to confirm that "Electricity" became "New Love"? :music:
