Same here, I wonder if she has a pussy?

Happy vs. Blurred Lines
I think the relative simplicity of this track is it's strength and indeed why it has such broad appeal and ultimately why it has sold so much and so consistently. It's just a great 'feel good' track and people like that.

Predicting Million Sellers
There's not much on there to be honest, but this was (and still is) the only thread I've ever started. I was rather disappointed it didn't garner much interest first time round so I'm glad to see it getting a new lease of life!

I see what you did there :) I made the same joke a few weeks ago!

Predicting Million Sellers
Did you really predict 'Get Lucky' would sell a million copies before it even entered the chart though?

Predicting Million Sellers
How on earth did you stumble across it, it's almost a year old!

Yes, I get a 404 error.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 16th February 2014
Yes, Honduras or somewhere, with the no.1 selling 3 copies with 27 joint no.2s each selling 2 copies! Edit: Just looked it up, there's actually 78 joint no.2s each selling 2 copies :) http://digitalsalesdata.com/diydsd.php?Region=143510

Yes, it was from that deletion that we learned that the iTUnes chart wasn't the 48hr rolling chart most had hitherto presumed it to be. Did anyone determine what it was? I guess I'll just have to keep an eye on this version to see when it disappears.

Streaming to be included in the UK Official Chart: CONFIRMED
Define 'popularity'. It's such a broad-based term. The most sold? The most listened to? Airplay? Well it's a combination of them all of course but how you combine them into a chart I don't know. Not that I think airplay should *ever* be included but it is one of the factors that would be considered in defining the term.

It hasn't even overtaken Pharrell on Kworb but it is no.1 on LivePopBars. http://www.livepopbars2.com/lpb1024.php?Re...44&Chart=34

Happy clearly had a boost from somewhere yesterday evening.

Fair enough, probably best not to go there. However as with any song on the iTunes chart, we are allowed to make comment on their content.

It's already slipping. I don't think it will make the top 40 now.

You do realise it's glorifying terrorists, don't you?

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 9th February 2014
Pharrell is slowly but surely eating his way into their lead though. It could be close.

iTunes Weekly Thread W/C 9th February 2014
It's still relatively early but Zedd doesn't seem to be increasing much. Pharrell to return to no.1 for a second time?

Foolishly premature single deletions (pre download era)
That will be confusing to the casual chart watcher who isn't aware of the ins and outs and the reasons for these things. They will hear it high in the top 10 one week then it's vanished the next. *WTF* they will think, even a casual chart watcher will know tracks don't normally do that. These deletions made the charts into a bit of a farce at the time.

What UKIP gay marriage row? Still 'It's Raining Men' is currently no.140 on iTunes, and I wouldn't expect this to be in the top 1500, so this campaign, whatever it must be having an effect. Edit: Just looked this up and I remember hearing about this now, the UKIP guy who thought that the recent flooding had been caused by Cameron's stance on gay marriage. 100% looney tunes :)

Even if you hate the track you would have to admit it would be an incredible chart feat. Somebody on here said if it happened it would be the first track since the 1950s to do so. I believe it was Frankie Laine.

Are you digital or physical?
Tracks downloaded from iTunes are stored elsewhere on your hard drive and not within the iTunes software. A while ago I had to un-install then re-install iTunes and all my downloads were still there.
