No 'Mad World' yet?

I'm strangely torn. Normally I wouldn't want SFG #1 but to be honest, would be a nice change from the rest of the generic R&B/Pop thats been dominating the charts lately. And seriously, how the hell is Florence/Dizzee STILL top 10? I thought this would be big in its first week then go away. 2010 has been rather dire so far - only 'Fireflies' has been the saving grace for me.

I do find it funny that we Brits seem to love novelty songs like Jedward. You can guarantee that in 10 years time when we're listening to the Top 100 of the 2010's, we will be mocking the whole Jedward thing and laughing at those idiots that bought it in their hundreds of thousands, yet right now loads of people genuinley like them. I don't think its the worst single ever released, but it deserves no higher than #10.

Technically if they have to skip about 8 songs each week they should just make it a Top 32 and just read out 40-33. Skipping a song at #27 but playing the #40 makes no sense if you think about it, as the #27 one is clearly much more popular!

Can't believe he skipped 3 songs and played another Rihanna track thats been played every week since its arrival - baffling! Good for Rihanna fans though I guess

I think it could sound really great if the bigger stars get priority and newer stars (JLS, Joe etc) are more like backing singers. If I hear it and Joe has a whole verse with Robbie/TT or Kylie just having a line each then it will be a bit roobarb.
