I don't think it's fatphobic personally - might be a controversial opinion but I do think people look for reasons to be offended these days I also think it's somewhat narcissistic to demand people to not use phrases that you don't like - most of the stuff I've seen on Tiktok are from users whose entire feeds are them complaining about others It's no secret that Taylor has been through really difficult times throughout her career in terms of her weight, and peoples view of themselves/their weight is subjective. I don't think it's for anybody else to tell her or anybody else how to feel about themselves. The word "fat" is literally just that.... a word. Policing everyday words because you don't like them is just stupid to me, and this is coming from somebody who has gained and lost huge amounts of weight in my late teens/early twenties

I agree ^ I feel she’s reached a stage in her career where she’s given up on trying to produce songs that will be sure fire commercial smashes, she’s just using music as an outlet and to tell stories. She’s built up a big enough fan base over the last 16 years that regardless of whether there’s a massive hit attached to the album, she will still blow pretty much any modern day artist out of the water with sales.

Taylor has officially broken the all-time record for the most album streams in a single day in Spotify history, Spotify have just announced. Can’t wait to see the numbers tomorrow :wub: EDIT: previous record was 155M held by Drake CLB, so she did more than that in 19 hrs with 5 more hours to go..

Early days, only halfway through the first day, but I think Taylor may have this in the bag now... I haven't seen an album of hers be this well received on the first day since 1989, and the critics reviews of Midnights are her best yet. She's currently at 94 on Metacritic based on 9 critics reviews Her Apple Music performance so far is her strongest yet too, she already has 6 of the top 10 on Apple and the entire album is in the top 200 twice

I just accidentally heard the 10 second leak of Anti-Hero, my friend sent me a Tiktok link without telling me what it was... I was trying to avoid it the leaks, oops ;)

I honestly don't know what to think.... we all predicted Red TV would sell no more than 35k and it debuted with double that Taylor has never gone this hard with the number of variants, plus the presale code now if you pre order before the 21st, I honestly wouldn't be surprised either way. She's also releasing 2 music videos the week of release (one on the 21st, one on the 25th) As many have mentioned though, even if she doesn't debut at No 1, I am fairly certain she will get it the following week

I really hope she does proper UK dates and doesn't just do the likes of BST/Glasto! I would also really prefer her to do arenas here rather than stadiums although I can't see that happening haha
