  1. Ant & Dec's nomenclature is a bit more complicated than shown here. The correct credit for the earlier hits is 'PJ & Duncan AKA', including 'Let's Get Ready to Rhumble'. 'Better Watch Out' was a one-off, credited to The Cult of Ant & Dec. They didn't call themselves just 'Ant & Dec' until 'When I Fall In Love'. (Not '...ON Love', which you have listed!)
  2. That single was 15 years AFTER the Bat Out Of Hell album! See my previous reply.
  3. Bat Out Of Hell's 35th anniversary, with a bit of promo being done by Mr Loaf this week.
  4. That's a very forgiving interpretation of a situation which Ofcom is investigating on two counts of misrepresentation. Are you a BBC lawyer? :-)
  5. I hope the competition winner doesn't think the meet'n'greet is actually going to happen, after Radio 1 lied to their 1D comp winners. I'm surprised they've got the brass neck to run another competition, to be honest.
  6. Better than that. He was #7 on Wednesday.
  7. Yeah, that's what I thought. Radio 1's chart often gets the 'last week' status wrong, so it's no big surprise.
  8. Radio 1's chart page is showing this as a RE-ENTRY. I presume they're just wrong, as they so often are? http://www.bbc.co.uk/radio1/chart/singles
  9. If it wasn't for [iNSERT NAME OF ANY #1 SINGLE], then [iNSERT NAME OF CORRESPONDING #2 SINGLE] would have been #1. Meanwhile, back here in the real world, we deal with what actually happens, not fantasy.
  10. They've been very poor at updating the chart page today. It got stuck for ages after #22, then jumped to about #14, then #10 and hasn't updated since.
  11. She's some combination of Jameela Jamil and Jamelia, I presume? Are you Doctor Frankenstein? :-)
  12. Nice bit of repetition there for One Direction. Singles peaking at #3, then #1, then #9. Then they do it all over again with another #3, #1, #9.

As survey designs go, having three positive outcomes and two negative is pretty poor and won't give you a valid result. (One option is neutral. That's okay.) This is how you design bias into a survey if you want to produce a more positive outcome. It would be better to start again and either add 'bad' to counterbalance the 'good' option, or remove one of the positive options.
  14. They could cover Javine's 'Touch My Fire', simply because 'Hurts and Burns' is generally what happens if you poke flammable material. ;)
  15. The entire top 7 is exactly the same as it was in Wednesday's update. How dull.
  16. She certainly doesn't sound like an Albanian Kosovan, does she? (Which is what she is, by birth.)
  17. So, three of the top 10 albums (and 2 of the top 3 again) are by solo British women called 'Adele'. ;-)
  18. Yes, Heart made #3.
  19. I don't know whether to be insulted or flattered, but I am neither 14 nor a girl.
  20. By releasing a CD single, which idiots like me then buy. :-)
  21. Born To Die, followed by Whitney. Unfortunate.
  22. It's fair to say this isn't moving around very much! Even less than Katy Perry's The One That Got Away.
  23. Now that was interesting! Reggie just admitted that Emeli Sande's Heaven is "up a massive 14 places". (It's moved from 49 to 35.) That's either a change of policy or a slip-up, as the R1 show doesn't usually acknowledge places outside the top 40. They would normally just say it's a re-entry.
  24. Ben, you're missing the 'r' in Pendergrass.

Almost definitely. The closest I can think of to someone with ex-Yugoslavia origins is Lene Lovich, whose father was from Serbia. (It could be that the bit of Serbia he was from is actually Kosovo, but I've no idea.) Sadly though, her chart peak was #3.
