  1. AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING. THAT IS ALL. !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  2. How funny we gave so much to Romania in the Semi, but only 1 point in the final.
  3. Get Outta My Way or Telephone? GOMW is a bit euro-poppish than Britney, so I don't hear her singing it - same as when it was rumoured/confirmed she had done a Graffiti My Soul demo - I can't imagine anyone other than Girls Aloud singing that, and certainally not Brit!
  4. I think on the whole, reaction to the tour was positive? I LOVE love love Get Outta My Way, but I can't imagine Britney's version of it, so I understand why Jive didn't take it for Britney. Kylie's version is wonderful, but is 'very Kylie' just like Telephone was better done by GaGa and Beyoyo than Britney's demo.

I find this one really interesting - I suspect a lot of the votes to get Rachael out will have been cast on Tues or Weds, when she was first chosen by Dave for eviction, when she turned stroppy, got her pet lip out and acted like a petuland spoiled brat whinging about it. Her reaction was a perfect example of how to look like a dick and get yourself evicted, and add to that her desperate 'aah reaaally think yah hot' with JJ, just made her look a bit sad. Plus she is pretty annoying on the whole, and also young teenage girls were always going to hate her for being prettier than them. It then wasn't til the previous day or two JJ started being a COMPLETE prick to her, and public opinion swung back to her favour, and by that time the eviction votes had already been cast against her. I don't see anyone watching last nights show spending more money after thinking 'oh I feel bad for voting for her now, so I'll vote for Sunshine and Shabby to void the vote I gave her two days ago'. The nail was in her coffin when she reacted so petulantly for being chosen. And for being a #bargainbeyonce.

I don't think RTE should pull out. In fairness, Ireland didn't do amazingly well, but in context, they were fortunate to even make the final, especially in SF2. Maybe take a year out and only put a good entry in every other year, rather than something mediocre annually. But, I don't think tonight's result for Ireland is 'doomsday'.
  7. Because their song was dreadful and they should never have qualified for the final in the first place. I'd have booed too.
  8. I just noticed, Moldova were robbed! Too low: Georgia (probaby my winner other than Germany based on 2 fantastic performances), Iceland, Portugal, Albania, Moldova (just 'COZ), Norway (:() Too high: Ukraine (good, but not THAT good), Denmark :kink:, Spain (shouldn't have re-performed IMO. it's live, it happens, you deal with it professionally (as Daniel did), and move on). p.s. omg I love it when Tyron get's mad - I was going to head to bed, but I may now stick around! In other news - consolations to Norway and I hope Erik had an amazing time and loved being at ESC!
  9. Duncan = hottie. Don't much want PJ though. kthxbai x
  10. A couple ... as in .. 35? Lolz.
  11. VERY pleased for Germany as a winner, both because I love the song and I think they'll do a wonderful job of hosting next year. And I can go :D Overall I was happy with the scoreboard - good top 5, and wonderful to see Belgium there. Albania, Iceland and Norway all too low for my liking (although Didrik's vocals weren't great, must have been very nervous). Decent position for Portugal which was good. Greece too high, but that's diaspora for you. Glad I'm not on the Azerbaijani delegation travelling home! UK ... well, comiserations to Josh who's improved a lot since YCNY, and did his best with absolutely dire material. He deserved a lot better, and coped really well, but the result was justified purely on the material and strength of the competition. Except Russia, obviously.
  12. Who got Greece's 12 last year? :kink: Granted Cyrpus weren't there to vote for, but it wasn't a neighbouring country. Unrealted (kinda, still on the politics thing), Israel and Bosnia would NEVER qualify (or do well if they did) if we're basing it on politics :o ANYWAY, I am outraged Bulgaria didn't make it, and also Croatia.
  13. 01. Lithuania // InCulto "Eastern European Funk" 02. Armenia // Eva Rivas "Apricot Stone" 03. Israel // Harel Skaat "Milim"04. Denmark // Chanée and N'evergreen "In a Moment Like This" 05. Switzerland // Michael von der Heide "Il pleut de l'or" 06. Sweden // Anna Bergendahl "This Is My Life" 07. Azerbaijan // Safura "Drip Drop" 08. Ukraine // Alyosha "Sweet People" 09. The Netherlands // Sieneke "Ik ben verliefd (Sha-la-lie)" 10. Romania // Paula Seling and Ovi "Playing with Fire"11. Slovenia // Ansambel Žlindra and Kalamari "Narodnozabavni rock" 12. Ireland // Niamh Kavanagh "It's for You" 13. Bulgaria // Miro "Angel si ti" 14. Cyprus // Jon Lilygreen and The Islanders "Life Looks Better in Spring" 15. Croatia // Feminnem "Lako je sve" 16. Georgia // Sopho Nizharadze "Shine" 17. Turkey // maNga "We Could Be the Same" I think they're my choices for what I'd like to go through - I wouldn't be sad to lose the others from the final, and I don't want Sweden in the final just to teach them for not selection Manboy of Kom. I'd be backing them for a win if they'd chosen Kom! I'd happily substitute Switzerland for Ireland, though, depending on the live performance.

I don't get the dislike for Sophie some people have - after Jenny went, my favourite was Sophie and I'm not Welsh? She delivered great vocals (especially on Reflection and herOTR) and I just thought she had more of a spark to her than wooden-Danielle who IMO seems pretty dead behind the eyes. Considering people keep saying what a fantastic actress she is, I find her pretty insincere. She's technically pretty good (although I'm not convinced she has total control over her voice ... to me she seems to skip between her chest and head/sporano voice a lot which I think can sound uncomfortable) but has nothing about her. That said, whoever had won except Jenny wouldnt've been enough to convince me to go and see this - it's going to need an amazingly strong supporting cast to get bums on seats, I think.
