Will Britney appear on a chatshow EVER AGAIN???
I wouldn't anticipate any interviews while she's in the UK this summer. I think they really will want things to continue to stay calm for a while before they begin that sort of promotion. The album has sold fine, and the tour has sold on purely on hype, so there's been no real need for interview promo. Naturally, the album would probably have sold even more, and it would have been nice for fans to get interviews, but if it's not necesary, it's just stuff she doesn't need to do for now.

The Apprentice
Debra can't possibly win, just on the fact that she doesn't appear to be carbon based. She is just horrific, at all times. I'd like Yasmina to win now, I think.

Eurovision Songs Charting In The UK Midweeks
You won't get anywhere trying to convince me that Eurovision isn't going through one of the best phases it ever has. I'd agree that there have been some wonderful entries in the past, and I love the golden days as much as anyone else, but there has been some real QUALITY in the past decade, and I think that's wonderful.

'Snog, Marry, Avoid'

US Endangered TV List
I didn't even see T3, if I'm honest, Scott. Rooney is right, though ... I wouldn't have renewed T:SCC if I was them either. Whatever the reason, it just wasn't performing well enough.

US Endangered TV List
I never loved T:SCC that much, so I'm not too gutted. I just didn't find it that exciting. But actually ... what are Fox going to show now? American Idol and The Simpsons? And the dance show ... oh dear. Mostly gutted about Samantha Who :( tragic, one of the smartest comedies around, gone.

American Idol
Taylor, Ruben and Fantasia have never interested me. Kris, Jordin, Carrie, Kelly, Chris Daughtry & Jennifer Hudson are just sublime, though :)

Eurovision Songs Charting In The UK Midweeks
I don't think anyone has ever claimed the song to be very good :o All the positive comments I've seen for the UK entry have been surrounding Jade and her voice. I think I've been one of the first to admit that Jade deserved a hell of a lot better than she was given  I don't think the fact that Daz and Scooch got top 10 prove anythng about the quality of their songs, considering the company they keep in the UK Top 10. It's a well known 'fact' (i.e. my opinion) that the UK charts are full of trash. I exemplify this with the following statement from you: "the tracks we do like failed miserably in the contest". What does that tell us? That the BBC were right not to trust the Cowell-ite British public to pick another song. Better to go for a generic song which is bound to get us votes, than trust our lot to pick some 90's cheesefest to represent us on an international stage. Just because a song goes top 10 in the UK doesn't make it any bloody good ... exemplified by the last decade's results.

I was totally thinking of booking into Brit's hotel  Bet she totally gets room service or goes out to eat, though ... no chance of spotting her over breakfast :P

'Doctor Who' Movie Confirmed //
Perhaps it will be David and Matt ... Matt as the current Doctor, and David as the doctor living in the parallel world with Rose et al. Although I don't remember exactly how that all played out, whether David's doctor can get back etc. But I'm sure they'd get him back if they wanted to

How weird Jade has charted at 34 there, when she didn't get any jury or televote points :o

Eurovision 2010 Dates Confirmed
As I understand it's a little way out of Oslo (but maybe one of the Norwegians here can clarify/correct me), and thus Spektrum is favoured because it's very close to everything: locations for press centers, accomodation, food etc. Not only convenient, but also would earn Oslo 2010 status as a very 'green' contest, as it wouldn't take large amounts of wasteful transportation to the venue for thousands of people. I believe Fornebu is a short bus ride out of Oslo, though.

Eurovision 2010 Dates Confirmed
Yeah ... for purely selfish reasons I'd go for the bigger venue to make sure I can go  But in terms of practicality, I'd rather have Spektrum.

Eurovision 2010 Dates Confirmed
I actually think I'd rather prefer the 9,000 seater arena  I felt Moscow this year was a little too huge, even though the stage was epic. I think I'd kind of like an in-the-round stage aswell, although that'd be a logisitcal nightmare for setup  Can only book flights until May 16th 2010 so far :( Can anyone clarify the process of getting tickets for the actual ESC event for me? Do you actually get a ticket, or do you have to queue and they let people in on first come, first served basis? I don't wanna go if I can't actually get in

Eurovision 2010 Dates Confirmed
The host city as well as the dates for the 55th edition of the Eurorovision Song Contest have now been confirmed by the EBU and NRK although the exact venue remains still to be decided. As announced today by the EBU and host broadcaster NRK, the final dates for the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest will be Tuesday 25 May and Thursday 27 May for the semi finals, the Grand Final will take place on Saturday 29 May, 2010 in Oslo. The final decision on the venue is still to be made. According to NRK two options are being considered for the venue of the 2010 Eurovision Song Contest: the Telenor Arena in Fornebu which can host up to 23.000 spectators and the Oslo Spektrum, the home of the MGP final, which is much smaller with a capacity of 9.000 spectators. "It is a great honour for NRK to host the Eurovision Song Contest once again. Together with our colleagues of the EBU we are determined to organise this event in line with the highest standards," said Hans-Tore Bjerkaas, Chief Executive of NRK. Norway is already quite experienced in the organisation of the Eurovision Song contest having hosted it twice before in 1986 and 1996, as well as having hosted Junior Eurovision in 2004. "We are looking forward to work with NRK on this enormous production. One year from now, they will have the opportunity to show Europe and the world what they are capable of," said Svante Stockselius, Executive Supervisor of the contest on behalf of the EBU. http://www.esctoday.com/news/read/14137

Kill The Lights To Be Added To Tour?
It's an okay routine ... some really great bits, and a nice lift. Would like KTL or UY to be added though. A huge part of me is hoping they replace Touch of my Hand with Unusual You, since it's obviously so insanely popular, but they're stupid enough not to release it. At least give us a performance!!
