I officially love you for that! Albania are by miles my favourites this year, the song is WONDERFUL, and Kejsi is great. She has a bit of a rabbit-in-the-headlights look about her, which is sweet, but could cause her problems if misunderstood. I really hope she qualifies :wub:

When re-watching SF1 last night, it occured to me that Ireland could end up like Andorra. But I hope not for Ireland's sake, I believe it is one of the top 10 in SF2.

Well this is a predominantly UK based forum, so it's only natural there will be a lot of discussion around the UK act. Feel free to start more discussion on Norway ... I won't post in it, because I'm not interested. But I won't have a problem with it existing, because I don't have to look in it..

I did think the juries wouldn't go for it, but then I don't think the juries will only go for ballads and traditional songs either. And she has the bonus that it's energetic and fun, without being gimmicky, it's still a great song I think...

On the one hand, yes, this should happen, because countries like Switzerland and Belgium are potential puller-outers, as discussed in the other thread, and I'd like to keep them. But, the contest is already thought to be flawed as it is, with accusations of favouritism, and political voting. If we put juries in simply to help some countries get through just because they don't get through much, the contest becomes even more flawed than it already is. Also, we've all said pretty much that overall, SF1 was a fair selection of finalists ... who would we have to sacrifice to let those three countries in? On the whole, all those who qualified, deserved to.

Ukraine are in my top 5 and I'm from UK, so it's not entirely Eastern votes that will put them through. I wouldn't be surprised if they won the whole damn thing to be honest.

I agree, I'd be surprised to see La Voix in the top 15, if she performs like she did in SF1.

I MISS ITALY!! I don't think costs have much to do with pulling out ... Albania couldn't afford to host it, I wouldn't imagine, but they're trying to do well (although in a misguided way!). It could be one of the Big 4 ... this seems to be make or break year. Anything outside top 10 after all of this, and I think BBC would consider it seriously...
