That's my point ... 'my country' HAVEN'T been in the final since 2002 for me, I've been supporting other countries... I've been from the UK in name only, they haven't actually represented me, as far as I'm concerned.

Do you not think it's been boring for the last 6 years watching knowing your country is destined for failure? As far as I was concerned 2003-2009, the UK haven't been in it, I've supported other countries throughout.
