  1. Dear God NO! at Terry presenting the actual show! :horror:
  2. I agree, Is It True is epic, and Johanna's voice is great, and she isn't difficult to look at, let's be honest. I'll be pissed off if she's anything after 20th though
  3. I'll be sad if they don't qualify, but I'm not certain they will :(

I've only seen Switzerland, Turkey, Albania, Sweden, Ukraine and Montenegro, I'm trying to be good. I will watch Jade's rehersals, though. I'm off all next week aswell :cheer:

I don't think Philip let Lorraine wind him up in the boardroom, he wound HIMSELF up. He made a lot of claims he couldn't support (mostly because they weren't true) such as: 'Lorraine isn't a good seller' .. ermm ... Lorraine = 800 quid, Philip = 0. First time this series the right person's gone, I think.
  6. I imagine she signs a deal with AEG for, say, 43 dates and gets paid that set amount, regardless of how full or not the arenas are. I don't expect she gets, say, 20 dollars for every seat sold  So whatever the agreed sum is plus a cut of the merchandising, I guess.
  7. She doesn't dance much during Womanizer, no. The big dance routines are more in songs like Toxic, Do Somethin' and If U Seek Amy.
  8. Semi I Montenegro Sweden Armenia Switzerland Turkey Iceland Romania Finland Portugal Malta - JURY Bosnia-Herzegovina I agree Malta will get the jury vote through, but I think it'll then flop in the final to make room for Jade. I really hope Montenegro makes it through, and I think they just might. Semi II Ireland Serbia :( Norway Slovenia Azerbaijan Greece Lithuania Moldova Albania Ukraine Estonia - JURY I'll be sad to lose the Netherlands. I love Estonia, but no-one else seems to so maybe it won't get through, but I'm hoping juries save it if they don't!
  9. Maybe, but I know of a lot of non-child stars who OD on drugs and alcohol aswell
  10. LOL @ how long it's taken me to reply to this. I blame the dissertation ... I think you're right in a lot of aspects, particularly the Lebowitz shoot (although I didn't find that sexual in the way FHM shoots raunchy shots, but looking back it was probably not appropriate), women have always been sexualised by the media more than men, although you're absolutely right to be concerned, I think. It's great that there are people there acting as a gatekeeper for Miley, although we have to hope and assume that there are people in her reality doing the same. Whatever we want to say about Billy Ray selling out his daughter, she seems to be really, genuinely enjoying it. The girl I saw on Jonathan Ross was lively, engaging and challenging, and I don't get the impression Miley doesn't have any control over her life or career. And good for her, she seems to be loving it.
  11. For anyone interested, Jade was on Poland's Dancing with the Stars tonight - and performed fabulously! GJpGQJY8WZE
  12. Woah. Fukkin nutjob. But she must have been singing live? All vocals just stopped? That's good :)
  13. I think I have a new favourite: Iceland for the win!

I agree, I was a bit let down by Hadise, she wasn't as on fire as I thought she might be. Malena was not good :(

I'm really gonna have to make time to sit down and watch this first season, once my dissertation's in ... I've only seen the first ep, but loved it!
  16. Armenia was great last year, I totally under-rated it at the time. Maybe I should have switched my Greek allegiance to Armenia? It was certainally much better than this years.
  17. ^ I thought Greece was great last year, at the time. I watched the performance on Thursday, though, and it wasn't as good as I thought it was at the time. Very sloppy, and you could hardly hear Kalomira's vocals. I was surprised watching it back, and it deserved it's 3rd place, even though I didn't think so at the time. Still probably the right top 3 overall, although I wanted Ani to walk away with the victory.
  18. Oh baby babyyy OH BABAY BABAY!
  19. It's true that the singles market in the UK is very competitive at the moment ... you have to sell a hell of a lot more singles then previously to get the same chart position. People seem to be buying singles then downloading the album at the moment
  20. I think Albania is hugely underrated too, infact I'd love to see them win it. Only problem is the staging of it all so far is dullll, just Kejsi wandering around. Estonia, aswell - people acknowledge that it's good, but it doesn't seem to be winning material :( I can agree that Norway is overrated, but maybe because I've heard it so many times. I do remember how much I loved it on my first listen, so maybe it IS that good and I've overplayed it.
  21. I expect she'll wrap the tour up on May 5th and fly home, and maybe film the new video straight away while she's in the performance frame of mind, then have a couple of weeks off. Then maybe a rehersal for this performance (if it's the new single) then a few days of tour reap rehersals before she hits the UK. I hope she does get some deacent time off though, she really deserves it.
  22. Is it not supposed to be Fenir Greyback? Emma is looking
  23. From esctoday A documentary is in the pipeline from British broadcaster BBC, following United Kingdom Eurovision Song Contest hopeful Jade Ewen from the beginning of her journey to her live performance in front of millions. Jade's Story will showcase the young singer's journey, from her victory in the show Your Country Needs You to her Eurovision adventures in Moscow. Viewers will be able to see close-hand behind-the-scenes footage showing how the media whirlwind picked up after Jade's win in a frenzy of interviews, TV appearances, stylist and recording sessions. Highlights will include Jade's whistle-stop promotional tour of Europe, which saw her performing at the Maltese national final just days after her UK success. The programme will also feature former UK winners Lulu and Katrina along with choreographer Arlene Phillips, who are on hand to offer some words of advice - and warning! - to Jade in the run-up to May 16th. Presented by Your Country Needs You host and UK commentator Graham Norton, the documentary should be a fascinating close-up of the media machine and preparations behind a Eurovision Song Contest entry, and the personal story of a young singer at the centre of it all. The date and time of the show, to be aired on BBC1, are yet to be confirmed. In the meantime, viewers will be able to find out whether Jade's Story has a happy ending by watching the grand final on May 16th.

Are Kate and James even IN this episode?! I'm 27 minutes in, and I think they've only had about 2 minutes of screen time.
