I'd be a bit surprised if Jessica Garlick isn't on ours to be honest - she's making her own little Eurovision comeback with performances at the Preview Party and her new single out soon.
  2. JE  This is just the most gruesome thing I've ever heard of.

Troy and Gabriella ftw  In all seriousness, they're not a couple, but the relationship between Bruno and Shmuel in The Boy In Striped Pyjama's just makes me
  8. It's possible, of course. Each jury has someone monitoring them in the decision making process, but it's obviously possible for any jury member to influence the votes by voting for their favourite song - if they're adamant it's their favourite song, there's not much any adjudicator can do about it. But it's a bit pointless, and petty. But possible...

Which one has just aired in the UK?
  10. Jade's website is now up www.jadeewen.com She'll be on Jonathan Ross on May 1st :)
  11. OK, done! I feel like I'll watch my results come through and be like WHAT WAS I THINKING?! having completely changed my mind - I so can't decide this year, my favourites change every day. And I love nearly all the songs in the final, to be honest, so it was a hard pick!
  12. Are we allowed to vote for our own country in the finals? I presume not ...
  13. She did IUSA great! Piece of me was interesting too, first time I've wanted to watch til the end!

Shame about Dirty Sexy Money, I liked it. But I guess it's similar to Gossip Girl, except GG is a bit trendier and so they figure people won't watch both...

GG & it's spin-off 'Lily' are definites aswell as OTH & Super :) good times. Although I'm pretty sure Smallville's ninth season is confirmed? Also - I'll miss Samantha Who, last I heard that was on hiatus/cancelled? Anyone know for sure?

T:TSCC won't stand much chance I don't think. Can't believe Smallville is still going- what are we on, Season 9?! I will get round to watching it some day. I don't care as long as we get: One Tree Hill, Gossip Girl, Supernatural, Fringe and I'd like Dollhouse for a second season. And I really think The CW should greenlight a Veronica Mars fourth season tbh, it would happen in my world, but not a chance in this one.
  18. ^ Your sig upsets me :( & this will be crap.

It's a lot when you think how much the whole trip would cost - but I'd probably pay it if the contest was in the UK/Ireland and go

I guess we must be nearing a decision with the contest only a few weeks away now. I'd created this for the UK, but of course people can use this topic for any other country aswell really... Who do people want on the juries of their (or any other) countries? Recap of the rules regarding the jury members: - Each jury must be made of 5 people (including one chair) who are music industry professionals. - Their decisions will be based on the second dress rehersal, with the juries ranking the songs on the day of the dress rehersal. The jury should convene on the day of the Final - Each jury member will rank his ten favourite songs and award points from 1-8, 10 and 12 points. These points will then be collated into a rank, giving 12 points from the jury to the song which has obtained the most points from the individual jurors etc- - In the event of a tie for any positions, the order of the tying songs shall be ascertained by a show of hands by the jury members (abstinations are not allowed) - The jury should contain a variety of members ranging in age, gender and background - All jury members must be citizens of the country they are representing - None of the jury members may be related to any of the participating artists or songs in a way that could affect their vote - Jury and Televotes will count for 50% each, and the combined results announced by a spokesperson from the country - The jury voting will be monitored by an auditor in each country - The names of the jury members must be revealed by participating broadcasters before or during the final So, bearing ALL that in mind, who would you like on the jury of your country?
  21. Amazing video  Made me laugh like hell - LMFAO @ her on the bar ... I love a good comedy-fall anyway, that was genius. She looks amazing
  22. Oh, really interesting! It's great to see people being creative with Brit's music!
  23. I don't think this'll happen for the rest of the NA leg - she might add something / change some stuff for the UK dates.

Girls Aloud should win, just because they're the most consistent, and The Saturday's haven't been around long enough yet ... but I'll throw them the vote in this just because everyone is voting for GA
  25. SWEET JESUS CHRIST @ that Radio1 edit. How terrified are they?! What a load of bull. They've just made the fact that something is an issue with the song MORE obvious with that pile of $h!t. Maybe we should sue Radio 1 for misleading us  TMZ had the full version playing the other day, but I've heard If U See Amy a few times.
