Your Country [once again] needs YOU!
I didn't  They gave the position to someone else, because they were from London, apparently. But today they were advertising for an intern for their offices on twitter :o Maybe the guy they chose let them down... Too bad I can't reapply, I have a nice new (paid! hurrah!) job that I've commited to for 6 months...

The Circus Starring: Britney Spears [Tour Thread]
I just feel bad for the thousands of Aussie fans who are enjoying the shows so far. As always, the negative is overshadowing the positive ... it'll be incredible easy for Britney to never go and tour in Oz again (not touring there til now has hardly hurt her career this far has it?). It'll save piling the stage onto a boat and setting sale for a month, it'll save a hell of a lot of time and money for her just not to tour there again. Feel so sad for all the thousands of Aussie fans who might not get the chance to see her again because of this.

Green Room [ESC 2010]
The MD of the casting agency twittered "wait til you find out who's writing the song!' ... she manages The Saturday's, so possibly someone who's written for them. Ryan and I were considering the potential of Ina Wroldsen (The Sats' 'Up' ... infact, most of The Sats best material and Jade's 'My Man' - check her out here.) - how great would she be?!

New Official Era Banner!
Excellent, looks great!

Green Room [ESC 2010]
For the UK's interest, it appears we're doing Your Country Needs You again. The casting company which provided artists (including Jade!) to last year's show are advertising for Eurovision talent again for next year's series! Presumably it'll all follow the same/similar pattern!

Green Room [ESC 2010]
Great news, I think ... should really improve the consistency of the results! Except some of the novelty songs might get some drunk 'omg that was amazing!' votes...

The Circus Starring: Britney Spears [Tour Thread]
One week tomorrow til the first Australian show - what's everyone expecting? Any changes? The question that should be on every Queen B fan's mind: will Britney be performing 3 on the new leg of the tour for her Aussie fans??

The Singles Collection
I'm a pretty die-hard B fan, but I'm not paying £92 for it. I'll wait 6 months til it's half that. Way to kill initial sales, tbh!

Buzzjack Britney Fan's All Time Favourite Album Tracks!
On the whole, I find ITZ pretty mediocre, tbh. Some stunning tracks, and some crap. But Blackout  amazing. Now do you understand why I had to nab toysoldier for my Twitter username?!

Melodifestivalen/Eurovision 2010
Haven't dropped in for a while, but it's still playing in the front of my mind, too. Just need a *real* job to make it totally viable, though! Btw, Tom - when do you move?

X Factor: The Live Shows - Week 2

X Factor: The Live Shows - Week 2
Well they are  Watching for the first time tonight, and most of them seem pretty dreadful, with a couple of exceptions. Such a step backwards for the show as a whole. Whitney's vocals were great, but she shoulda sung more of the chorus. Cheryl's routine was great, but still think her voice is too transparent to be good, and she lost the vocals in the middle. Kudos for live vocals, though - brave!

'Wordshaker'
#9 is disappointing - what the hell happened?! But, think of Girls Aloud's WWTNS? album - their second - launched off the back #2 hit Love Machine, peaked at number 6 ... there's still a lot of time for Wordshaker to peak. GA's third album, Chemistry, peaked at number ELEVEN, but spawned a hugely popular single in Biology. But in all honesty, number eleven was an abysmal position for an act as huge as Girls Aloud. For The Sats second album, #9 is still respectable.

Leighton Meester feat. Robin Thicke 'Somebody to Love'
Had it on repeat since I first heard it - that chorus is just HYPNOTIC! Wonderful!
