  1. I love doing lists. Singles 1) Adele - Rolling in the deep 2) Jessie J - Do it like a dude 3) Katy Perry - ET 4) Adele - Someone like you 5) Jessie J - Price Tag 6) Nicki and Drake - Moment for life 7) Rihanna - S&M 8) Jessie J - Nobody's perfect 9) Britney Spears - Till the world ends 10) Pink - f***ing Perfect I haven't actually purchased 10 albums this year because there haven't been 10 great albums this year but from the ones i have 1) Britney Spears - Femme Fatale 2) Jessie J - Who you are 3) Adele - 21 4) Nicki Minaj - Pink friday (i know this was released last year but i was a late fan of the album)
  2. Late may into June i think they begin
  3. Don't be disappointed just yet. It's only been out just over a week.
  4. This is fantastic. Britney herself would love this. I've read she loves Adele.
  5. Working on another album already. You expect a JLS album within a year but usually rap albums are worked on for a good few years. Why not re-release Pink friday and continue the huge success. I always thought the album could do with more tracks.
  6. Suprised by the winner really. Creatively, Rude boy and Disturbia are her best videos
  7. Fail to see the love for JLO on Dynamite but each to their own. She is terribly auto tuned, like Britney on S&M. Therefore it's un bearable to actually listen to it.
  8. It's an ok song. Not one i listen to very much though compared to the ones listed in my chart.
  9. I got an ace of base vibe as well Based on the first listen, it sounds like a mess and lyrics are awful. Compared to the set list they did at Pixie's tour, it's a turn around from what songs i have heard and really liked.
  10. Seems a bit stupid to promo a song on one of America's biggest ratings winner, yet the song it's self isn't even on Radio.
  11. Welcome To My Chart Thanks for last week comments and any future ones regarding this week's chart 1) Alexis Jordan - Good Girl - 3-1 2) Katy Perry – ET – 9-9-9-1-2-2-9-9-9-9-9-11-6-1-1-2 3) Adele - Rolling In The Deep – 1-1-1-2-3-1-1-2-3-2-3-3-4-4-3-2-2-2-3 4) Jessie J - Nobody's Perfect - 13-13-17-7-4 5) Britney Spears Feat. Wil.I.AM – Big fat bass – 12-5-2-4-4-5 6) Britney Spears - Trouble for me - 9-5-5-6 7) Lady GaGa - Judas - 16-7 8) Rihanna – S&M – 5-5-4-4-4-4-4-1-1-3-6-8 9) Rihanna - California King Bed - 8-2-3-6-8-9 10) Adele - Take it all - 16-8-9 11) Britney Spears – Till the world ends – 11-10-10-10-12-11 12) Adele - Someone Like You – 4-3-3-4-5-4-4-1-1-3-6-6-8-8-9-11-12 13) Nicki Minaj Feat. Drake - Moment 4 life - 6-6-7-1-1-3-5-7-9-13 14) Nicole Scherzinger - Don't Hold Your Breath - 11-11-13-14 15) Nicki Minaj - Girls fall like dominoes - 16-13-12-14-15 Coming home has dropped out. Jessie J scores her 2nd top 5 hit. Dude peaked at 2 while Tag only peaked at 6. Lady gaga scores her second top 10 hit. Born this way previously peaked at number 5.
  12. Yeah i agree Liam.
  13. Born this way should lead the album off. It's sets the album's era and theme i think.
  14. I loved the remix with Taio Cruz and Sugababes for She's Like A Star. There is another one with Sugababes and Busta rhymes. It isn't a remix i adore or play a lot but i feel Sugababes's vocals go well on the song and plus it was the only piece of music i liked from them as i never liked their Catfights and spotlights era. I also like the Kylie version of Higher. I Liked the original but i think Kylie and Taio's vocals really connect well on it. I felt Travie mccoy's imput on the other version ruined it.
  15. What a nice cover I didn;t like strip me. If i am honest, it was awful. But Touch has a summer vibe to it that would really do well in the clubs. Shame the Uk never got to hear the Pocketful of sunshine album but i thankfully got an imput.
  16. I can't decide. I really like them both. But apart of me likes One of those boys a tiny bit more because at the time of it's release, it was different than any other pop album that was out. At that time in 2008 you had the likes of Rihanna and Leona in terms of main females in the chart who were doing R&B or power ballad stuff. It wasn't your typical pop album and she filled in the void we needed while Pink was absent from the chart. The fact she worked on it for a few years also shows that as well. Teenage dream for me is an album for me where i love every song but it isn't different from any other pop album i have heard. Plus it moved away her into a more dance upbeat scene, a scene that too many artists have jumped into at the moment. One of those boys had that rocky acoustic edge to it which i loved at the time and still do now.
  17. I agree now i'v heard it a few times. But i still like Kesha's imput. It comes across a bit poorly edited as well. It's like her and Nicki's parts were cut and pasted in any old place. Nicki's verse doesn't feel right at the start. Should be at least before it drops into the final chorus.
  18. David John posted a post in a topic in Rihanna's Rihanna
    1) Rude Boy 2) Stupid in love 3) Te Amo 4) Cold Case Love 5) Photographs 6) Rockstar 101 7) Russian Roulette (i like this song as it shows her vocals off enormously but not a good song to begin the era with personally) 8) The Last Song 9) G4L 10) Fire Bomb
  19. I love All night long with Pitbull. The arrangement of the song is different and makes the song slightly more urban. I adore Nicki's minaj's verses on Drake's Best i ever had. Because the song is talking about a girl he has been with, it's nice for the song to centre on the female's point of view as well. Drake Feat. Nicki Minaj - Best I Ever Had I also like Nicki's verses on Willow Smith's Whip my hair. The original is meh but Nicki adds something to it that makes you forget your listening to a nine year old singing rather meh lyrics. Willow Smith Feat. Nicki Minaj - Whip My Hair I felt Flo rida was pointless on both Higher and Bad Boys. Kanye however, ruins ET.
  20. With Rihanna teaming with Britney on a s&m remix and now Britney teaming with Kesha and Minaj on a till the world ends remix, i was curious to know what people's favourite remixes were of existing songs that had another artist feature on them.
  21. There's a song on Timbaland's Shock value album with Missy elliott She says a line like "like britney spears, i wear no draws"/ Obviously a dig at her on her infamous no underwear moment.
  22. I sorta agree Joe. When she jumps on songs, her rap verses tend to be irrelevent. I am not trashing her by the way. I'm a Minaj Lover.
  23. I really had Britney set for huge things this year. I am not calling Femme fatale a flop but it's sales are slightly lower than a usual Britney album. Plus hold it against me went out the chart quite quick even when the video finally premiered. I think she's just set for modest success this year.
  24. I found Loud was a little misleading. When i heard it was going to be called Loud, i thought it would be like a dance album. But really it isn't. Maybe i read too much into the title but i don't feel Loud sums the album and the songs as a whole.
  25. Paparazzi - 10/10 Telephone - 10/10 Pokerface - 8/10 Judas - 7/10 Lovegame - 7/10 Alejandro - 7/10 Born this way - 6/10 Bad romance - 5/10 - I find this song terribly overated. Especially the video. Just Dance - 3/10. I don't really dislike the song, i just listen to it the least
