I know what you mean about originality in music, but does it really matter? As long as they are good songs, it doesn't matter if they sound alike, its near impossible for every song to sound different, which seems like you want? Plus, a lot of songs out now would have been recorded at about the same time, or when recording they wouldn't know other artists will be recording or what will be the 'sound of 2011'... :unsure:
