SPOILERS ● The X Factor ● Series 14
Grace is performing a Roots and Live and Let Die on Saturday while Rak Su are reprising two songs they’ve already done in the lives :’)

The X Factor ● Series 14 ● THE FINAL
Matt went into the final on the back of a sing-off, I think without the Nicole duet he’d have been out on the Saturday. Kevin and Nicole would just suit each other perfectly anyway!

Junior Eurovision Song Contest 2017
Russia was my favourite entry song-wise, although meeting the Maltese and Macedonian delegations made my allegiance very strong towards them both (and both of their songs were inside my top 5 in the end)! I was expecting Russia and Poland to landslide the online voting due to having the biggest JESC audiences as you could vote for your own country. Glad that wasn't the case and we had a representative result. Nevertheless, Polina is one of the best winners ever and her performance would easily be good enough for an adult Eurovision stage. I hope to see her in adult Eurovision in a few years! Loved the contest overall, will always be a special one after being out in Tbilisi for a few days. A beautiful city and a striking blend of the old and the ultra-modern. Lizi and Helen were great hosts and Lizi's green room presence during the voting was hilarious even if very non-impartial as she perhaps should've been!

United Kingdom (You Decide) · Eurovision Song Contest 2018
In 2016 it was last week of February, this year it was last week of January so next year's will sort of be in between the two. Importantly it is still early enough this year to revamp in time for the March deadline (unlike in 2016).

The X Factor ● Series 14 ● THE FINAL
This is actually probably exactly what they will want to happen. They've probably encouraged Grace to perform Roots as her Sunday winner's single, but will aim to have her out on the Saturday. They will achieve this by getting Kevin to duet with Nicole who will ensure progression through to Sunday, presumably at the expense of Grace who will have saved her ultimate weapon for the Sunday. Therefore Rak-Su won't be up against Roots and will secure the win unless Kevin can pick up lots of casual votes in this one-on-one vote. If that fails and Grace does win with Roots then they will know they've got a successful single on their hands even if it wasn't their Plan A. I really think the outcome of this final significantly hinges on whether Kevin performs with Nicole or not.

The X Factor ● Series 14 ● THE FINAL
This is potentially one of the best final 3s ever, not a fan of Rak-Su but it’s the most relevant and talented as a whole probably since the 2010 series (Matt/Rebecca/1D/Cher). I can’t really predict the winner either, not sure Rak-Su quite have it in the bag. I think Grace could win if she makes the Sunday as Roots if she does it is the strongest original song of the series. But if the rumoured duet for Kevin happens then I think he’ll push Grace out on the Saturday leaving Rak-Su the ultimate advantage of an original winners single whereas Kevin will probably have a cover.

SPOILERS ● The X Factor ● Series 14
Surprised they aren’t going to learn their lesson with Nicole duets, Kevin will be guaranteed to be through to Sunday if he duets with Nicole. If Grace is saving Roots until Sunday for her winners single then she may not even make it there in this case.

The X Factor ● Series 14 ● Live Shows Week 4
Seems quite obvious that the two 16-year-olds are going here, I think Grace will just beat Matt to win the vote.

Just listening to Grace's song for tonight on iTunes, definitely more uptempo and it's top quality yet again. Really hope she gets the pimp slot and her momentum gets going after tonight!

The X Factor 2017 • Guest Performers & Chart Boosts
Honestly I'd be shocked if Taylor bothered with The X Factor, with her public appearances being so limited I doubt XFUK is at the top of her priorities. I suppose I could imagine her and Ed doing End Game at the final (along with various other songs between them) but that would be a massive coup for ITV and I can't quite see it.

Reputation • 6th album
This is EVEN better than 1989 was on first listen! I remember 1989 took two or three listens for its amazingness to properly sink in whereas this one is an instant wow. Initial highlights from the album tracks are probably End Game, Don't Blame Me, Getaway Car and This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Things. I think So It Goes..., King of My Heart and Dress are probably the only "filler"-type songs and they are still very very good fillers. 1989 had just as many "fillers" (the last three tracks) and that's a shorter album. Once again Taylor has SMASHED it out of the park and this is the best album of the year for me. Will it become my favourite Taylor album, time will tell! It's currently a close fight between Speak Now and 1989 for that depending whether I'm on a country day or a pop day, maybe reputation will take over 1989?

Taylor Swift | Call It What You Want
A perfect promo single to showcase another side of the album, it shows how different all the tracks are that people have different favourites! This probably ranks 3rd of the 4 for me, with Look What You Made Me Do 1st and ...Ready For It? 2nd. I still feel like this era is still going to have another big MOMENT, and I'm convinced it is going to be this Ed Sheeran and Future collab. I would've assumed it was just fanfiction rumours but with the Chinese symbols translating as Eddy and Future in the Ready For It video, I do think it is real!

SPOILERS ● The X Factor ● Series 14
I'm sad that Havana is wasted on J&J just as I was that New Rules was wasted on them too. Would like to have seen the Cutkelvins reprise their judges houses performance or even someone like Grace take it on as I think she could smash it. Spencer has a fab cover version of Havana on his YouTube too, shame he isn't here for this. Nevertheless I am quite excited for this theme, lots of inspired song choices yet again with only 3 of the 14 tracks previously being performed on X Factor live shows (Livin La Vida Loca, Twist and Shout and Hero?). I am curious to see whether we'll be getting hastily translated covers or if we are going to have several acts learning Spanish!

Oh others have been revealed too but not going to write them all out! Sam’s track is the only one I’ve seen so far with zero connection to the theme.
