  1. This is track 14 and is 3:23 in length!
  2. I’m imagining this to be the sequel to Out of the Woods *.*
  3. Maria Olafs (Iceland 2015) is one of the many applicants being uploaded to the show’s YouTube channel! :o
  4. I think we’ll get a promo single on Friday, and then they’ll wait for the Ed track (if it exists) to naturally do the best from cherry picks and make that into a single by the end of the month.
  5. 30. Grace Davies - Too Young (X Factor Recording) 124. Lloyd Macey - City of Stars (X Factor Recording) 281. Alisah Bonaobra - This Is My Now (X Factor Recording) 443. Holly Tandy - Hollow (X Factor Recording) 722. Spencer Sutherland - Who You Are (X Factor Recording)
  6. Oh good, nice to see that all sorted out! I expect the top 4 in the vote was those 4 in that order too - and clearly ahead of the bottom 4. I think Rai-Elle was probably 5th so it'll be interesting to see if she is next to appear.
  7. Tori's Hollow has entered the top 1500 though (albeit in the 800s) but Holly's version hasn't so it has updated at least fairly recently. I'd have expected a couple to appear almost immediately on the strength of their fanbases, even before the show started.
  8. Interesting point! When The X Factor USA revealed the full vote rankings on screen each week, the top 2 (Tate Stevens and Carly Rose Sonenclar) was pretty much the same top 2 all the way through so it didn't affect anything there. I imagine it probably won't have much of an effect here either but will be interesting to monitor.
  9. Oh and a minor thing which I love, I love how each act has been given their own logo for their name which we can see on their iTunes singles and on the stage screens at the beginning of their performance. It's a very small detail but it feels like they are trying to make them a brand right from the start.
  10. No X Factor recordings top 1500 yet, either they aren't being allowed to show or there's an error - I think it's going to be the latter and they'll all pop up by tomorrow.
  11. Honestly that was a fantastic show. Extremely well paced, amazing production values, all the contestants are at least decent, inspired song choices. ITV really deserve credit here, they've delivered changes that are all pretty much perfect. I am really sad to see Spencer go, he has some really decent original material on YouTube/iTunes that he hasn't been able to showcase and I really think he had the most commercial potential out of all four boys. Glad to see Grace taking the victory, and loved her correcting Dermot - although I bet Dermot won't get anywhere near as much hate as Olly got for Monica-gate. Great show yay!
  12. Sadly I think Spencer will go hit I’ve given him my 5 votes as he deserves to stay. Could see Leon in trouble too, and Sam to be fair. I think Lloyd will win the vote but be closely followed by Grace and Alisah.
  13. Ooft that was one of the best first show performances I’ve ever seen and I’m far from an Alisah hardcore fan! Absolutely perfect song choice, vocal and styling.
  14. Something about Holly reminds me of Lucie Jones, I’m not quite sure what though but I’ve felt it for weeks!
  15. Seeing a lot of potential so far, amazing new set, solid performances so far and the whole thing has a massive stadium feel to it with the use of camera angles up to now. Really hope they’ve cracked it with the changes this time round!
  16. I think the most recent year they were on iTunes, 2015, Fleur East got to #1 with Uptown Funk? So I think they allowed it last time so hopefully they will again!
  17. Grace’s song is fantastic. It won’t do anything to convince her haters but it sounds like it could be her second best song so far!
  18. This Is My Now!!! Battlefield to be used at some point too please
  19. At least they’ll turn up on the iTunes chart presumably, another good indicator of each’s popularity!
  20. X Factor tracks are available on iTunes now, glad it isn’t a Spotify exclusive this year!

It's difficult to do this considering the lack of concrete information about the format, but here's my rough 1-16 prediction based on the little we know: 01. Grace Davies 02. Rak-su 03. Matt Linnen 04. Holly Tandy 05. The Cutkelvins 06. (Girls wildcard) 07. (Overs wildcard) 08. Sean and Conor Price 09. Lloyd Macey 10. Rai-Elle Williams 11. (Boys wildcard) 12. Spencer Sutherland 13. (Groups wildcard) 14. Tracyleanne Jefford 15. Kevin Davy White 16. Sam Black Something like that, give or take a couple of positions depending on which categories are actually eligible to be eliminated at certain positions. Definitely, think the whole big Plan A for this series is for Grace to release Roots as her winner's single following by a very quick full studio album with all of her original songs - perhaps even as quickly as mid-December. I think the shorter live shows will allow them to manage to achieve a Louisa Johnson-esque domination.

I think we're losing one tonight and one tomorrow, I predict Sam and Kevin I think! Spencer (unfortunately) and TracyLeanne are probably next closest to danger.

I echo the need for more performances and fewer sketches. The sketches might even have been okay but I found Greg and Dotty largely dreadful, completely lacking charisma. Jason Derulo completely outshone them and held the hosting side of the show together. I fear the BBC will make this their latest platform to parade their usual circus of favourite acts that PLAGUE the BBC Music Awards which just seemed to be a platform for the BBC to be arrogant and not actually choose relevant and popular acts due to their snobbery and reward those they and they alone like. They've got away with it with tonight's line-up this time (Jessie Ware would fit into the BBC favourite acts circus but I can forgive one per show), but I fear as we go further on that won't be the case. This is probably something that irritates me only, but I really do dislike BBC Radio/Music at times like these. All that said, it's better to have what we had tonight than not at all - massive room for improvement though.
  24. Shockingly modern and inspired song choices there, well done everyone!
  25. Ready For It is 59p, I wonder how high it can go with the video release. I’m thinking between #20 and 30...
