  1. How to go from selecting a potential winner to withdrawing from the contest in a cloud of chaos in 3 days, well done all involved

  3. It's like Legends but a hundred times better!
  4. Cyprus coming to top my pre-contest rankings for the SIXTH year in the space of twelve, when will Sweden??????
  5. ESCKaz say that the contract she has to sign with the Ukrainian broadcaster says that she must not perform in Russia up until Eurovision... the issue being she has two solo concerts and two awards events lined-up in Russia before then. It's either Eurovision or cancelling those Russian appearances...
  6. It was one of the best live performances but I thought Lilly Among Clouds was Eurovision-winning worthy performance-wise there!

I work at hmv, we were told that we weren’t getting any Warner supplied releases (Avril, Avantasia) until Monday so I imagine that’s the same nationwide.
  8. 519. Mahmood - Soldi Italian Eurovision entry ready for UK #1(000) 918. Kate Miller-Heidke - Zero Gravity
  9. Correct choice so good work there although Holly was my favourite of the night. Credit to the BBC for a fantastically produced show, an extremely enjoyable 90 minutes! All that was missing was the songs but credit given where its due there - best UK final overall that I've witnessed. Of course Australia will blow it out the water on their first ever go tomorrow...
  10. Electric Fields did seem the most likely winner going into today but they seem to have slipped back to third favourites after a poor running order and what I find is quite a bland stage performance. Kate now seems like the likely winner, with Sheppard picking up the pieces if either the jury or public find Kate too bizarre... but I think she'll get it. I'm desperate for Sheppard though :(
  11. 399. Netta - Bassa Sababa 703. Sheppard - On My Way
  12. A big struggle in the international jury vote suggests this will very much struggle in Tel Aviv, I expect France's worst result since 2015 certainly. Nevertheless, it's still a decent song but I would've preferred Seemone!
  13. Roi is decent but its nowhere near the best in this selection, can't see him not winning now though. Silvan is basically Igit 2.0 for me so I expected him to get through thanks to some love/hate jury votes
  14. Laura Bretan's Dear Father is the only thing I've heard so far this year where I think certain top 10 at Eurovision if it gets there
  15. Tamta confirmed with Replay my loves https://www.escxtra.com/2018/12/21/official...us-in-tel-aviv/
  16. WELL I WON 2018 SO WHO CAN BEAT ME THIS YEAR? 2019 ROUND ONE OPEN NOW: https://www.escxtra.com/2018/12/09/eurovisi...ound-1-albania/
  17. Immediately started singing Love on the Brain over the chorus, another good effort from Avril though!
  18. Soni and Jonida have the most hype across fan forums at the moment, I guess if they’re big names too they’ve got a good chance?
  19. 98. Fleur East - Sax
  20. 115. Fleur East - Sax
  21. I don’t think either Emily or Fleur we’re actually bottom two, potentially testing whether a sympathy voting spike can get either of Harry’s closest challengers above him in the vote or whether he has an unassailable lead? I’ve watched X Factor too much
  22. An act with a UK top 40 hit and a UK top 100 album taking part in the Australian selection whereas we'll get no-one with anywhere near such a UK chart record! But Sheppard are a fantastic relevant choice after getting an Australian #1 album this year, I hope they have a song worthy of victory!

Gemini has been scrapped (or renamed), the new album is now called "Only Love, L" and is released in April. Lead single "Thank You" is doing well on iTunes, currently inside the top 15 a few weeks into its release. A quite amazing video for it too: Y1J41MQh3Ss
  24. Yeah it reminds me of Germany 2017 format rather than 2010 unfortunately
  25. Queen Gohar isn’t head of delegation anymore as far as I’m aware as she’s focusing on her other tv shows :(
