I spotted Ireland's Zena Donnelly in the trailer for The Voice Kids UK this evening! *.* Junior Eurovision alumni taking over ITV!

I still find the song itself only "good" at best, it's definitely one of their weakest singles. But the album to me only had three big smashes on and they've released them all already. I'd have liked Your Love for summer but this is one of the best remaining choices but it is still fairly average with or without Stormzy. Surely a re-release or new album is coming after this, can't see them releasing anything else after Power.

5 After Midnight are launching a single next week right? Did they sign with Syco or another label, if the former then they must be potentials.

It makes me wish Olly had done a duet with Diana a few years ago when they were both in the charts and best friends! :heart:

Welcome! :cheer: This is the fifth edition of the competition, last hosted in the summer of 2015 when Mulgracia were victorious with Cosmic Gate & Emma Hewitt's 'Going Home'. It is based on the format of Melodifestivalen which consists of four heats, a second chance round ('Andra Chansen') and ultimately the grand final. You can also enter a song longer than 3 minutes if you are willing to edit it down for the purposes of the competition. No Eurovision or Junior Eurovision songs are allowed, nor are any songs that have competed in national finals for either of these competitions. Of course Eurovision and national final artists are allowed, but not with the song(s) they entered those competitions with.The normal veto framework is not used for this spin-off as the veto is more relaxed. The next version of the song, released tomorrow, features Eurovision star Amir!

It's not the all-out poppers o'clock song I would've liked, I think it's another song - like Rita's - that isn't about being instant but having an earworm quality. Anne-Marie's part is probably my favourite but I shall wait and see to see how this grows on me in future listens.

This is now being released on May 31, presumably it will be joined by a BGT performance!

It's very radio-friendly, it doesn't quite have that all-out chorus I would like but it has an earworm quality that I imagine will really settle in after a few listens. Very carefree and summery though!

Now this is intriguing! NEIKED scream one hit Spotify turned iTunes wonder, I'll be impressed if this can gain traction too. Nevertheless, I'm sure I'll be a fan personally if it is anything like Sexual!

Wasn't sure whether to go all out best Scandipop ever or still try to be a little inspired so I bridged the gap with an all out best Scandipop artist ever with an album track, and I think it fits nicely with the type of songs entered elsewhere! Glad Lew chose Ego for Tove, that was the song I would've gone for also. And to have one less Swede, ALMA is Finnish I believe!

Gorgeous video, beautifully filmed, beautiful message and Hailee looks absolutely gorgeous in all of her different costumes. The message totally makes sense now, her boyfriend (?) at the beginning saying that she's not like/better than most girls. But Hailee doesn't want that, she wants to be like most girls because most girls are gritty, committed, fearless, unstoppable and that is something to be proud of! So cute! Not seeing this gaining any traction on iTunes, but Spotify may help this sneak into the top 40 if it can get a little iTunes support if Capital/Radio 1 ever bother with it.

There has always been a mid-year break (for BJFestivalen or other "spin-off") for as long as I've participated, last year's mid-year break came earlier than usual so it would coincide with Buzzjack's 10th anniversary and the special spin-off we did for that.

I voted in this the best part of 2 months ago unlike some people (:kink:) and it grew on me since then, would probably rank it second behind Lanberry now which is also on my potentials list! :kink:

Right I haven't watched barely any of this series but I SWEAR I saw actual Destiny Chukunyere belting out Freedom in the preview advert of tomorrow's episode?

I think I may have confirmed the same artist as Lew but I'll try it on the chance it isn't, she's one of only a handful of non-Eurovision artists I've ever seen live!
