  1. Never thought I'd think a song with several CHICKEN NOISES is a 10/10 but this is
  2. The scatting part is the only bit I dislike, the difference between this and Electro Velvet (even though I don't see the songs being that similar in genre apart from "retro") is that the MGP staging of this is very modern, impactful and energetic whereas Electro Velvet were too busy trying to hide their LED pack batteries under ever growing costumes.
  3. Great winner here if not my favourite which was of course Margaret, very pleased with her midtable finish! Not sure this is a Eurovision winner as it isn't quite instant enough, but should contend for another top 5. Televote was still too close to really have a point, they either need to change the app voting so its X Factor app style (5 votes overall to give out, not for each act) or revert to the fixed point system as seen in Melfest pre-2010ish (?)
  4. I really don't understand the Rybak hate, and this is from someone who was far from a Fairytale fan! I loved Rebecca and Rybak pretty much equally (maybe Rebecca a tiny bit more) for completely different reasons. This is sailing to the final and will be contending for top 10 in Lisbon.
  5. Cyprus coming to top my pre-contest rankings for the fifth time in 11 years!

  7. LRT had booked Iceland and Romania to perform as interval acts for this final on Sunday, but Saara Aalto recently accepted their offer too so LRT have now turned Romania away so they can have Finland instead! :heehee: Ieva MUST win this, stunning song.
  8. I might have got over 200 people to play my game but I’m going to win it anyway mwahahaha (goes badly wrong in the last round)
  9. It's definitely borderline in the most difficult (by far) of the two semis, very professional and I applaud Croatia for sending something completely different to what they normally send. I imagine it's a grower which is good for us but not so good for that first time impact in May for casuals.
  10. This is by far Portugal's most modern entry ever, really really surprised! Gives me London Grammar vibes, something I think will be even more pronounced once I hear a studio version and the production is clearer.
  11. I'd be surprised if its only a demo, it's very easily 3 minutes when you cut off the last 20 seconds which aren't necessary. Very very good, Australia finally provide an amazing entry in studio form!
  12. Female mid to uptempo pop entries are coming in thick and fast now and this already pales in comparison to Australia, Cyprus, Azerbaijan and I think the latter is even a borderline qualifier so Storm needs massive elevation to get itself into the midtable.
  13. Agreed this is now low top 10 at its very best but extremely glad they picked the best song!
  14. I’ve seen about four different running orders now, the one in here is the best I’ve seen!
  15. Ryan. posted a post in a topic in Pop and Country
Sounds like a single from the “Get Weird” era, very good!!
  16. ZNkscaGUZ20 This has been given a revamp and has just been uploaded, really really good and definite Evanescence vibes here. It's between Sara and Jenifer for the win it is widely believed, this one would get San Marino into the final I think.
  17. Yep, another song today, tomorrow and Thursday and then he’ll reveal which one is going to Lisbon on Friday.
  18. This is one wrong decision too many for me now, the internals need to be exceptional to save this year!
  19. Kamil is preferable to Mger but otherwise I’m not here for novelty (unless Kamil gets the backing singers to sing everything and Kamil just stays quiet and dances)
  20. Kamil is fave to win at some bookies, Mger 2nd, Sevak 3rd and Asmik 4th. The rest are 10/1+
  21. Double pimp slot for Asmik with Sevak shoved on first :o Could see Asmik not winning either part of the vote but winning combined, Kamil and Mger *should* get screwed by the jury unless Gohar has told them to vote in a certain way. I expect Sevak to do well on both sides but could lose a couple of positions due to the running order slot. Unfortunately I think 5th is the highest Asmik can get in the televote (Mger, Kamil, Sevak, Nemra should all beat her) so it may just be too big a mountain to climb (especially with a poor performance as seen in the semi)
  22. A reverse BQL for Tayanna, 2 jury wins in a row but two televote snubs in a row putting her 2nd twice in a row. But Melovin deserved this and Ukraine could be heading to the top 5!
  23. Always is in Hungary, Boggie remains the only female winner of A Dal since it began in 2012!
  24. Both are fantastic, Melovin edges it just for me so would like to see him win the televote!
