Nicole: She has outsold Adele for 6/7 days, so she had likely a decent lead(unless she manages to outsell her in a few hours). Her lead has never been that big though, Adele could out sell her if she gets a massive boost. Adele: The song has a very instant reaction with a lot of people, but I can't see the boost being absolutely massive, as over 1 million people already own it(Maybe people will download the live version after hearing her sing it?).

Nicole is now just ahead of Adele, Adele will definitely overtake had after Comic Relief. That means Nicole will have been number 1 on iTunes for four whole days and most of Friday and Sunday. I think her sales lead now will be too big for Adele to catch up.

I'm feeling quite sad just now. Ellie's new single is flopping, and it on the music channels and the radio. :(

Looks like Adele will not overtake soon then, now that the live version has disappeared. Even though it is now back on again, people don't seem to be downloading it. Nicole now has a decent lead. Nicole will be number 1 unless something amazing happens.

Looking at the pop bars, Nicole is still holding up. Adele won't overtake her for a while yet I don't think.
  6. I reckon she will be number 1 until her 11th week, then she will go back to number 1 after that. I only bought it last week, I am sure there will be many more sales.

    I feel sorry for America.

I just heard it for the first time, she sounds like she's dying

It's good but I might pass. I have already downloaded the songs I like due to Christmas itunes vouchers.

It's wishful thinking . I'm not sure I want Geraldine at number 1.

I don't know. If The Wanted couldn't do it with a more commercial song...

I don't think Nicole will be number 1 now - Adele is will likely overtake her tomorrow, and with the Comic Relief performance, she'll likely sell more than her this week. If the Wanted get a big enough boost, Nicole could do a Saturdays :(.

Don't forget Ke$ha will have lost a lot of sales through illegal downloading. "Poison" was frontloaded but it had less appeal and was performed to a large audience.

The Fast Food Rockers song sounds like innuendo sometimes  Or am I just imagining it?

That's much better  Oh, and Weatus is 23.

No! Not Ke$ha :(. I'd miss that cute laugh she does in "Your Love Is My Drug" and "Blow".

I just realised Adele is 2 when combined. Hmm, didn't expect them to be doing this "poorly". I though it would be number 1 on iTunes with a double lead or something.

Looks like a flop for Ellie then :(. Shame. It was an awful single choice though.

x3  The video was good too

Good point. "Poison" was front loaded because of The X Factor performance perhaps. The sales would naturally have been more spred out but weren't with the massive exposure.

I'm sorry, I just realised I was artist bashing, although  at someone adding the "fixed" bit. In fact, it was also fixed the week "Missing You" missed number 1. They jumped to number 1 on airplay next week.

The chart run of "Heart Vacancy" and their album was very front loaded though, at least in the higher numbers. In fact, "All Time low" dropped 1 - 5, which isn't that common.
