When did you first discover midweeks?
I googled them in late 2009 and found Haven. Then I found here.

iTunes Chart: February 2011 (II)
I wonder how much Lady Ga Ga has trailed off. It's getting airplay, so thought it would be rising. Adele is more than twice ahead of her, and Jessie overtook. The Brits should be on a Sunday

It's a three way battle!

Lady Gaga vs Jessie J
Adele is now 1 and 4 on iTunes, so she is in with a good chance. Jessie J was close behind Lady Ga Ga and she is out selling her at 2 now, so she might sneak it. Lady Ga Ga, despite being 3 on iTunes now, sold the most Sun - Wed. A real three way battle.

Adele 1 and 4 on my iTunes.

I much prefer that Lady Ga Ga. She was very pretty and her voice much nicer. She was just lovely, really. Still, The Fame Monster is .

Adele - Someone Like You
It might get to number 1 after all :o.

Adele - Someone Like You
Oh . Although I stand by what I said.

Adele - Someone Like You
I am a massive Lady Ga Ga fan, but I don't like Born This Way. I feel it is a massive anti-climax. I would love to see Adele number 1, as ballads don't do so well any more.

Adele - Someone Like You
I don't see it getting airplay quick enough(this week) to get to number 1 though . I think this week is it's only chance.

Adele - Someone Like You
I voted top 5 as it will likely fall short of number 1 this week, and with no airplay or music video, it's sales will trail off. Shame, it would be a lovely number 1.

I don't think Adele will make it. I think Lady Ga Ga has sold too much earlier in the week, so Adele will have to get a big lead to get a chance. So another number 2 calls sadly :snif:.

I hope so . The Cave . Hope it beats it's original peak.

Lady Gaga vs Jessie J
Jessie's music is more commercial though. Plus no one had heard it before, so it wasn't going to grow on them.

Lady Gaga vs Jessie J
Under The Sheets and Ellie were basically unkown though. Jessie J is massive just now. She is also the current number 1. Also her music is more commercial.

Loca wasn't released though. Did It Again was great. :(

Really glad. Terrible that it did not get to number 1. Although it did in Scotland.

I'm glad. I really like it.

How sad. Reminds me of when Ellie was number 1 on iTunes for like 3 weeks and got kept off by a charity sigle that gave like a quarter of the sales to charity. How unfair. Poor Ellie and Florence. However the lesson has now been learned - don't release songs mid week(referring to Florence). I can see it happening this week from the Brits affect.
