Thanks TT - looking forward to this. I watched Alan and Gary and enjoyed them both. I think it's good to have a different slant on the arts etc., some of the programmes presented by 'experts' can be very boring with them getting too 'technical', making it feel more like a lecture than a TV show. No doubt the usual Tweets will come thick and fast :P

Thanks girls. I missed this last night. I couldn't find anything to watch on TV so read my book - typical :rolleyes: :lol: I'm listening now on I-player.

:lol: When he brought out Echoes a DJ said how he managed to sell well despite the fact that you rarely saw him out and about. He does do lots of things but just doesn't advertise the fact. Lots of stuff for charities all goes unnoticed. He doesn't seem to have had a holiday though.

I think that's why he perhaps didn't give permission for Ronnie Scott's to record and release him singing live classic songs. I saw there was a live session at Ronnie Scott's on Sky Arts the other day.
