I read this while I was having a coffee in town. She just said that with Christmas coming there's an influx of books - some of them not very good. Will has a memoir (which I reckon is the best way to describe his book) which she enjoyed reading and which showed a side of himself which he has kept carefully hidden.

Explains a lot. I wondered what the paint across his forehead was about. Along with the slicked down hair it's to give him a look like a painted doll's head. Very clever. Thanks TT. Love reading about what goes on behind the scenes.

Some of the girls on Baby D went to his Piccadilly reading/signing yesterday. Said it was fabulous and learned that he's doing an audio of his book which is due out in February when the paperback is released. Can't wait for this - I love to listen to him speak :wub:

I was really surprised when it was announced that Will was writing an autobiography. He's such a private person and, even in interviews, won't be drawn into gossiping about other people in the industry. In a promo interview before release, he did say that it wasn't really an autobiography but a series of memoirs that started from his schooldays. Totally not surprised with the book, I never had any expectation of Will 'telling all' - it's just not his style. It was his publishers who labelled it as such in order to sell it. If Cheryl wishes to share her private life with all and sundry, which she does already through the medium of the press, then that's her choice. I can't see she's got anything new to tell everyone that we haven't already read before. I don't believe Will is ready to write a 'real' autobiography, maybe he never will. He also said that it wasn't his place to relate other people's stories - which tells us that there was no expectation of him dishing the dirt.

Will is going to be on Alan Titchmarsh next week - but no confirmed day unfortunately. Thanks to Kathryn on Baby D for the heads-up.

Mary over on Devoted kindly scanned the review for us but it was hard to read and had to be zoomed so I sat and typed it out, as much for myself as anything. also Griff(Carole) would need a transcript to put in the locked Reviews Thread. I completely missed all the papers as I didn't log on until about 4pm so it was too late by then to get the papers. But thanks to all the girls we have them. :dance:
