  1. Oh my word - what a great review. And I love Losing Myself - as he says it's got a great vibe. Loved it on tour (but then I love the whole album  )

    Gill asked when: Aw

I know it's important to do well and a No.1 album, especially, must be a huge morale booster, but longevity seems to come at a cost these days doesn't it. Judging by his recent comments, Will seems to have come to terms with that and is a happier soul for it. It really is sad how Cowell manipulates his artists just to line his coffers, but he's never been any different has he. He came a cropper with Will though

Perhaps she is judging him from a technique perspective. Ballet is a very intense/difficult discipline and takes years to accomplish some of the positions. I suspect, for an amateur, he shapes up well.

Success.... it's all a matter of perspective isn't it. Success in the entertainment/music industry, to me, means having a long career not necessarily charting high every time. Many many bands/singers don't trouble the higher parts of the charts but have been around for years - with a very successful career in live performances/gigs and tours. Will has joined them.

Thanks TT. Bloody cheek - they don't have to make excuses for him! <_< Apart from a few who have only just released or are riding high .... e.g. Adele who seems to have have taken up residence  ..... he's doing well. At least they say it's his sixth platinum - no mean feat after 10 years! Sorry - little rant  Thanks for that TT.

 I have four signed piccies now. Two of them I won in comps - one from the You & I promo yonks ago when we had a get together in Hyde Park and another from Let It Go promo, and the balloon pic from Keep On which he signed to me after I sent him a birthday card when he was doing The Vortex. I've got them in frames - will have to find room for it :P I seem to get pix from him when he is feeling vulnerable

Just been over there to post. Apparently there was a 'glitch' on one of the updates and the hosts decided, in all their wisdom, to wipe the records. Everything from July onwards was lost. Hopefully they can retrieve it all but, if not, then everything from then is gone - just as we lost all that stuff from the O/S. As Will says - in other news - on a very happy note..... I received a signed photo from Will this morning. I sent him a Christmas card, as I do every year, and did not expect to hear back. Bless him

That's really good news - thanks Sunday
  11. Yeah I know. The comments are on this link - a general "will" and "young" - so he will most likely not see them anyway: http://twitter.com/#!/search/realtime/%22will%20young%22 It was only because that oik posted onto Will's own Twitter page that he saw it. I often think about that saying "Before you criticize a man try walking a mile in his shoes". No one, other than those closest to him, know how he feels.
  12. Only a couple Jacqui but it annoys me that people are only too pleased to jump in.I should be used to it by now but I feel for him. :( To read Tweets to him you have to put "@will_young31" now instead of just "will_young31" in search. Here's the link: http://twitter.com/#!/search/realtime/%40will_young31 Julie - once again I agree. And I thought it was an old interview too. He's always saying he wants to take time off. He said he wanted to take 2014 off after the stuff he's got planned for late 2012. These magazine/papers very often cobble old quotes together to make an article when they may only have a couple of short words from him.
  13. Hello Julie. I always agree with what you have to say and this time is no exception. He's a free agent but wouldn't take time off if his 'people' thought he still needed to promote heavily. They must be happy with any investment returns.
  14. This is what they are talking about: http://www.rte.ie/ten/2011/1218/youngw.htm..._medium=twitter He says he'll take three months off but doesn't say when. Maybe it will be from January until March then. The internet really brings out the worst people doesn't it. Nasty Tweets.

Echoes is at #51 on ITunes with 15 compilations/EPs and Ed Sheeren's second listing of the same album, ahead of him. So #36. Hopefully he'lll get good sales again this week. Good news about The Hits too.

Ahhhh Friday's Child. I was really pleased he added that - it's a wonderful chill-out version. You're a real star Sunday :friends: I did wonder if his tears after RUTH were his frustration coming out for the Voice debacle. A big sigh went up for him at the end  He certainly has had some hills to run up hasn't he.
  20. I've got the same problem - just seen silas' reply. My son just said it's not the cookies it's the cache and it just replaces everything in there each time you log on. He cleared my cache and it's updated ok now. I'd be lost without him he's my techie

Thanks sunday - those hand mimes in Losing Myself are fabulous. I couldn't see them from where we were - so great to see them. And the reindeer/sleigh mime in This Christmas was funny. Ashley excelled himself this time - such different and classy routines. There is so much to take in.
