Great news. I was really fearful that Echoes was going to be lower this week but it's holding up really well and Jealousy too :dance:

That expression was my son's. He means that it slows down to a trickle in order for the processor to recover - as you say especially if it's trying to do too many things at once. I don't fully understand the technicalities but apparently computers have things running in the background so if you ask it to do too much it goes into a tizzy :lol: I have four tabs open all the time - all four of Will's sites so it has to process information from those and can't always respond instantly. I used to hibernate when I left the computer if I intended coming back but it seemed to send it into a tailspin so now I have to close down completely every time. I think I just need a new bigger capacity hard-drive with a humungous fan :lol:

Yes. My husband already said that the fan is just not 'man' enough.

My PC is doing the same. My son tells me that it's overheating. The old processors just used to close down but the new ones just 'throttle down'. If it gets too hot it just gives me a warning and closes down completely.

I think that was The Sun who claimed he had had a 'weave' because his haircut was a bit 'weird'. Little wonder he never reads his press.
