Thanks sunday - fabulous news :yahoo:
  2. I think the interview on Gaydio with Rowetta tomorrow may be a bit more entertaining. Looking forward to that and hope we can capture it. :D
  3. Thanks Bev - so nothing more in the way of news then. That's a relief - it played for a couple of seconds and then kept cutting out every time I reloaded the link. Maybe they will have a podcast - it looks like they have that facility.

But those songs are not what Will is about Pearl. They are one-offs and not something he wants to be typically known for. If he was he would just be another Michael Buble. As he said - Echoes was an album that was about making him happy and to please himself and not other people (imo he was talking about industry bods here not necessarily fans) as he said he had some 'good' fights. The fact that other people do happen to like it is probably a huge relief. He said as much in an interview - that he was pleased that people felt the same way about it as he did when he was making it. I think you may well be sending more of Will's albums back then Pearl because you would be waiting an awfully long time for him to record songs such as those you have mentioned
  5. Thanks Bev - trying to listen but it keeps cutting out :(

    Thanks Sunday :D
  7. I got three tickets yesterday after TM opened up the "No matches" page. Three up in the gods that others dismissed as being too far away but, hey, we are going to be there so what the heck. Someone posted a photo on Will's FB of the inside of the Palladium and it looks to be much the same size as New Theatre Oxford. The tiers overlap each other quite a way (Top tier overlaps second at Row C and the second tier overlaps the stalls at Row N)so you aren't that far away from the stage. The seating goes up instead of gently back. I also had a look on Theatre Monkey and people who have sat where we are going to be have said they had excellent views and plenty of legroom. Apparently much of the theatre seating is squashed together so anyone who is over 5'7" won't be all that comfortable unless they are on the end of the row and can stretch their legs. It's also 'cheaper' up there too :P Can't bring the picture over but here's a link: http://www.flickr.com/photos/stagedoor/485...in/photostream/

Thanks Phil - he has the tracks out of order - the album isn't 'rounded off' with Outsider

He's doing ok considering they have only just released. Their sales aren't much are they.

Thanks Bev - I've seen that one - just waiting for part 2 now :D
  11. I went to the Milly Dowler gig but I didn't really take in the surroundings. I just got the impression it was quite big - something like the Apollo.
  12. It's a 2,286 seater. Oh my god I thought it was bigger than that!!!! Panic mode :w00t:

Hey F/G I was only thinking about you the other day - welcome back :hi:
  14. My husband was suprised I only booked for one gig this tour so I'll be getting tickets for this. hope the pre-sale seats are good it's a big theatre.
  15. It's up on O/S now - presale tomorrow - general sale Friday: Sunday has posted this seperately.
  16. Thanks Sunday - just seen that. This must be his Christmas Special
  17. Thanks Phil. It's exclusive because they are the first to find it and report it
  18. Yes it is Phil. I've just seen that Sunday has posted in the album thread - that'll teach me to check first  Never mind, casual visitors may see it here on their visit rather than having to delve into a long thread. Give them an insight into the workings of Echoes.
  19. Thanks Bev - I said to Lobby in the R1 thread on Baby D that he probably hadn't unpacked his boxes, when she commented on his clothes he was wearing  Wonder if he'll ever get that dog :P I've had goldfish before but they always ended up dying on me. Spent a fortune on all the tank and stuff too
  20. Just spotted this : http://www.willyoung.co.uk/global/news/glo...-interview/2350
  21. Thanks Bev - just been reading that. You're very welcome William

Thanks sunday - good sales for him - hope he can sell over a long period now :yahoo: And in today's climate a #1 seems to pull more weight than the actual sales. :P You were right TT - it's sitting at #12 on the ITunes album chart and has re-entered the official album at #56

On ITunes the album track has moved up from #27 yesterday to #24 and the radio edit has moved up one place to #7. :D
  24. Thanks girls - all good stuff - aside from one  Not worth getting your knickers in a twist over that one - it tells you nothing about the show and everything about the person making the comments. There are very few places to promote music these days and that person obviously doesn't wish to know that, he's letting his prejudice of all things 'reality' come to the fore. I shan't let all the good news so far get lost in one negative. This is why Will doesn't read his reviews. Fabulous vids Sunday  His voice was the best last night and the effects were brilliant  It was a shame they vut out the second verse of Grace but probably wanted to use the time to extend the end . Whatever the reason it was fabulous and the new songs WOW :yahoo:

Echoes is pulling The Hits along with it - it's up to #31 on the Pop Album chart on ITunes and #96 on the main album chart
