Now listened numerous times - 1) Brave Man: Good opener for the album - this could easily have been the first single - a big power ballad. 2) Promise Me - one of my favourites  3) Love Revolution - It's OK but I think I'd have preferred one of the other tracks to lead off. 4) U Think I'm Sexy - I can see this one being picked up in the clubs - it has that vibe. Just OK for me though. 5) Gold - undecided still on this one. 6) Like A River - now we're talking ... great song loved this from the first moment I heard it. Pure Will  7) Joy - not fussed about this one. 8) Blue - bouncy tune - I like it. 9) Thank You - I like it - don't love it - not keen on the wailing. 10) I Don't Need A Lover - needs to grow for me. 11) Dare - love this - one of my other favourites  12) Where Are You Tonight - really not sure about this one - quite mournful. 13) You Keep On Loving Me - This has a catchy chorus - like it a lot. 14) Always On My Mind - a cover of the Elvis track. It's OK and fits with the sentiments of the album. Not one of his best covers for me.

No - but then I didn't order it straight away and only the first few were to be signed so I wasn't expecting a signed one. Valr over on TD says that she had two booklets in hers and one was signed. Maybe she got yours ;)

CD just dropped on the mat. Listening now - will come back later. And there's a lyrics booklet too - great.

Thanks Dazzey. Just been listening and checking the lyrics. In Dare the line you have "Never know where there going too fast" is Never know if they're going too fast and I think it's "Let the ocean IN" and in Promise me the line is About how I can often feel the same and in Brave Man I haven't a clue what he's sing here either :P

Thanks Sunday. Lots of information there and interesting to read the reason for leaving 19. I did wonder which other singers they looked after in the UK as it seemed to be focussed on US music - now we know. He did say recently that he is still in contact with Simon F. Looks like we may see him go international at long last. Sony really didn't seem to be that interested in him. We never did get a video for his great Keep On tour because Sony decided they were no longer economical. Absolute pish. His routines were fabulous and all we've got to show for it are fans' photos and a few captures.
  17. Thanks TT. I find him totally fascinating to listen to and watch. These blogs certainly give us an insight into what makes him tick.

Don't often enjoy The One show but the hour seemed to fly by. Loved Sandi, she's on QI often. Sang LR. Would like to have heard one of the other tracks but a great live acoustic. :music:
  19. Thanks Sunday but there's nothing there - try this:
  20. Thanks peeps. :D

Thanks Sunday. Receiving praise from people in the industry counts for more than the odd inane and ignorant comments from some of Joe Public.
  23. Isn't Dare such a great song. Absolutely Will. Roll on the 25th
  24. Absolutely love Dare. Great interview - lots of giggles.
