Happy to return to the top 10 again without necessarily going out of my comfort zone. The original version of my entry was considered one of the best dance/electronic songs in 2019, and although I wasn't particularly interested in melodic/progressive music in 2021, I was surprisingly impressed by Drumstone's remix. I'm a little bit confused why Lewis suddenly created a standalone thread of a Blasterjaxx remake. Surprised that the UK decides this should become Blasterjaxx's first UK hit. Ultimately, this is absolutely a letdown to me, at least, and (probably) trash to the OG fans. Thom and Idir have really been at a loss for their quality since around 2023. "Perspective" was one of my favorite albums in 2019. I mean, they were genuinely that good before driving techno became the new big room house. Thankfully, not all the big room techno thing is bad; their upcoming collaboration with Hardwell is much more preferable.
