My Hero Academia officially ended yesterday, signalling the end of an era of another big Weekly Shonen Jump title. Hence, congratulations to Horikoshi-sensei for this achievement. Kinda shame, but like AOT, I never followed the series as I wasn't really interested in battle shounen outside of Naruto/Boruto and Demon Slayer until last year. I'll definitely give them a proper look in the future, tho. Either way, their Peggies song still slaps (even if it came from what’s apparently the most hated season); Then again, this is coming from a boy who's currently obsessed with catching up on 400+ Bleach episodes and 170 Black Clover episodes. Gotta make sure I'm there for the TYBW Finale next year! Loving this iconic tune anyway; Also patiently waiting for Boruto to upset the entire shounen community once again, as well as the first teaser of Kagurabachi, the manga that went viral for 'already outpeaking' every battle shounen.

Honestly, I expected my 3rd re-confirmation to not perform well at all. Your Lie in April is such a generational anime and will always be discussed every decade. Wish I could send its iconic opening theme, but unlike the Arash/Helena situation in Bop Idol, I was fully aware that Goose house had already been sent to BJSC: Japan vs. South Korea (yes, this is a pleading to revive the contest x). Even though it would have been allowed due to the mostly different participant base, I chose to avoid sending it out of respect. Given how personal all its 4 themes for me, I had no regrets for sending a slow pop-rock song once in a while. Therefore, thank you to DaTilt, Rollo, and Iz for the points, as well as AllStar for the lovely Director's Fan. 🩵 Not a huge fan of the overall results, but happy to see KKB, Geowulf, and Baby Bugs on the Top 10!
