I am not sure if I am suprised or not by Sugababes album. I really thought in the safety of an early year release where sales are much less it would easily go top 5. I am still a fan, and am loving their new stuff but it is really isn't a scratch on their earlier stuff and it seems interest is finally waning.

About A Girl made 8 on a busy week with no promotion. This is going to be released in a quiet period and no doubt they'll be out in force promoting it. I would expect it to go top 5 (but drop quickly). Similar for the album actually, would predict a top 3 debut with many fans buying it that week (and look at album sales, it doesn't take much to get there) and dropping off relatively fast.

If you read my comment I didn't actually say Alexandra should not have won. I voted for her!

To be fair, that isn't what they said. It is a compliment to Alexandra/Leona that they are such bankable stars. I think the point was that Will Young and Girls Aloud were more of a risk, neither were the favourite in their respective shows and both took time to get a very unique sound. When Leona won there was no doubting that she was going to sell massive amounts.

Brett Tucker aka Fitzy has quit. Will be finishing filming in september. Poor Libby.

I really wanted to dislike Syed but have to say his character is growing on me. Not had loads to do so far either, but seems like a decent actor *SHOCK HORROR*.

I do really really like it but have to say the writer has this repeating business down pretty well. Video is VERY nice though, nothing like a diva and a smoke machine.

Getting released on region 2 (thank GOODNESS) as well according to amazon, alongside the first series of melrose place. :D

I have to agree I PRAY this isn't a series 2 as the first 3 ave been so good. The loss of Kev and Vernoica could be the thing that does it.

I think she slagged off Samantha Mumba and that was it. Hardly an arm-length list.

Thing is as a result it doesn't seem to be that different from the likes of Natasha Bedingfield. Everyone seems to be turning to blumming guitars these days. Though apparently Chris Martin was back to work on another song for this album. :D

The news is that a "leading character" gets killed off. It could really be anyone from the show - I don't think the makers could lose one of the main 4 (well 5 as it would be a CRYING shame if Edie was killed). :o

It's abit LONG.

I do love her. And this song is growing on me slowly (Thank GOSH) but not so sure about this new direction. Doesn't seem to quite have the same edge.
