Given some of the recent conversations here I wonder if there could be some kind of benefit in trying to incentivise voting early/on time? Doesn't have to be anything to do with the points total, could be getting to choose your running order in a semi or an extra play in the listenthrough or maybe (and more realistically) it could just be something cosmetic with low/no stakes like a special flair or a fancy shout out in the results thread for that silly motivational dopamine hit we all crave lmao 🤣 Maybe a worthless suggestion but I'd still love to hear everyone's thoughts on it

IT'S BEEN A LONG TIME COMING but I've FINALLY updated the world map! It looks different because it's a different projection and and definitely not because I can't find the original map file and had to recreate it from scratch so if you're confused why your country has moved or changed shape that's the explanation or something lol. I think you should be able to open the image to see it in full detail, if not check out this link. If anyone wants to me to make any changes to their territory feel free to lmk. Also pls let me know if anyone's missing, I tried to implement all the changes I spotted in this thread, including the relocation of the Oslol populace and the mystery around Neliönoir. Additionally any gray countries with the beige font are up for grabs and the names are just placeholders to identify them if anyone wants to claim them because the various former number systems are so messy and beyond confusing and at this point. Also, countries that haven't been active in a long long time are also available for swaps or any kind of lore related happenings (e.g. see the disputed island south of Botanikka, Caerfyrddian territory in the far north, and Zanmatony's invasion of Poisonvine Bay) Finally, if you're wondering why some countries have a much fancier pattern etc just know this IS a work in progress and I am planning on doing that for every country on the map, along with some other changes. I just figured I'd share it with you like it is now since it's finally at least partially presentable lmao and it's only taken me like 2 3 4 5 years or so to provide another update so yay!
